Welcome to my Zilean Support guide on carrying Low Elo
| First i would like to leave basic guidelines and a short description - no, this is not a troll guide. I will try to do as many things in-depth as possible. The guide is absolutely not pointless, my experience proves something exactly opposite. I have been able to carry myself up to low platinum with the above Zilean build, which pretty much proves its effectiveness. |

| You're probably looking at this guide due to the fact that you are looking for an efficient way of leaving Platinum (or lower) leagues. If so, you've come to the right place! Just by reading the guide you should acknowledge how cool Zilean is in carrying your teammates to victory. Below is a short summary of what Zilean can and what Zilean can not do. |

| Below rune build is really straight-forward. You opt for increasing your survivability above anything else, that's why you need the extra armor and magic resist. This also works because you are only leveling your bombs at levels 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18. Your speed / slow does not scale with your AP, so you can leave this stat at 0 points. |

Masteries
|
This mastery setup allows you to sustain a lot of damage while also creating a lot of damage by buffing your teammates. You gain a bunch of experience due to the amount of points invested into Utility tree. The Defense mastery tree is really straight-forward and self explaining. You need that extra survivability to be able to ult your teammates on time. The Utility mastery tree is one of the most interesting I've ever created. Zilean is one of the champions that synergizes extremely well with the masteries provided from that tree:

Skill order
| Now, people might find it amusing, but yes, you do not level bombs until level 13. This is an absolute must and if you level it earlier, you will fall behind. Leveling E is quite crucial, as it opens for gank possibilities from your jungler. The bigger possibility of getting a kill, the better. Also, you max yourself out at level 12 so as you reach level 12 you will be unstoppable. Also, this means you should opt for going into endgame as soon as reaching level 12, because you will have to push the enemy to secure your early victory. Most of my Zilean games using this build ended in 20 minutes due to enemy surrendering, OR ended in 25-30 minutes due to enemy Nexus being taken down. |
Summoner spell choices
|
There are only so few viable spells to choose. Most notably you will want to use Flash first. Then, you either have an option to use Exhaust to make your ADCarry survival even greater, OR use Heal to give your carry a little more breathing room (sometimes speed) during the laning phase. |
