ANNOUNCEMENT:
1. I've UPDATED the OP with all pieces up to page 32.
2. As we have already hit the middle of this month I am delaying "Artist of the Month" Until right around February 1st. I've come up with 2 different ways to properly approach artist nominations.
OPTION 1:
- Have the artists who are interested in being featured PM me. Once we have a list of at least at least 4 or 5 we will do another series of PMs with people's votes of the available options. Most votes wins.
OPTION 2:
- Have the artists who interested in being featured PM me. Once we have a list of at least 4 or 5 I'll use a random number generator to select a number. Each artist will have a number that corresponds to them if their number is generated THEY are our featured artist for that month.
An artist featured for a month cannot again be featured for a span of time. This span is undetermined because the whole idea revolves around people being interested in being featured.
I've mentioned in the OP that a featured artist will have a few things that may be considered incentives to want to be featured.
A. Their Shop's link will be included thus promoting their shop and possibily increasing requests.
B. Works they wish to show off can be included to reinforce the potential client requests.
C. A few paragrapghs written about them (with their input and approval) detailing their artistc careers. Essentially a mini blog about them. This is to give insight into their works and their motivations.
Any other reccommendations for how we should undertake this process would be much appreciated.

another trial and smudge technique. but this one looks bad D:
CnC - I don't mind any rude/hurtful/good comments. anything helps :P
Well...I'll give it a shot even though I'm not all that experienced.
-Central composition looks good, the background really allows for that kind of placement.
-Color scheme is good drawing correlations between the background and the render.
-The smudging of the background looks good too, but the render could use better blending to take full advantage of the flow.
-Overall I think the render just needs to be worked on more to make it blend better and thus achieve continuous flow.
It really depends what your agenda was, if you were trying to break the flow intentionally to draw attention to the render, then it just needs better blending to make the "breakage" smoother but still apparent. If you were trying to achieve great flow from center outward then perhaps a few more duplicate layers of the render and smudge+layer settings.
If I'm way off base (which I'm betting I am :P) then...Ignore this completely XD.

Ill create a tutorial tonight when I get home explaining what I've been doing recently to generate the energy effects for my newer works. Its rather simple but its possible people might want to see what I've been doing. I'm no where as amazing as other people out there but it helps to experiment a lot.
