Well, even though I preffer mid over any other lane, I can also play ad carry as long as my support doesn't just sit in the brush and waits for their ad to come close enough to land a stun.
The one thing that doesn't help us is the fact that we all live in different timezones (mine being GMT +6) and it's sometimes hard to get together.
We will decide on our roles by january and will start practicing more then. For now, I just want to practice certain champs and get better at them.

LOTSA NEWS WOOO!
But, before that, we got the "UMAGAD TEAM WILL BE DISSOLVED" message so we thought to ourselves "better play some rankeds". We have had some issues getting the people together (XeresAce is nowhere to be seen, and neither was EliteOl). So we just figured, "let's do some Twisted Treeline rankeds".
As tryhard bosses, we didn't even practice the map. In fact, it was going to be my 4th TT game, and that was before some of the changes it suffered. I think LastPlagas had played even less of it. All the info we had was mostly from pre-shadow isles patch. Fun to be had!

Commentary:
- Enemy team's bans, what is this? Felt like we were on a 5v5. I facepalmed at forgetting about
Singed too. Their picks were kinda standard (although I felt overconfident about their Akali option). Night mains Lee, Last took my
Teemo suggestion for map control and I took
Rumble because he's good on TT;
- It started terribly. We didn't know the altar times had changed so we moved in slyly into the wrong places. When we realized the altars were not opening, we did some weird pathing, were trapped and
Riven got first blood on me. Little did we know how much of a pain she would become;
- But it actually didn't take long. Although
Teemo was doing well vs akali, I wasn't doing so well on my double lane. Riven actually carried
Singed's engages (the guy was very insecure or something), and she started getting bloated fed. I, on the other hand, was so behind even Akali came from random Narnia to kill me without breaking a sweat. Was really sad;
- We did get some good teamfights tho. Our ability to pick someone up and pin them to the ground got us some pretty good engages, and we just used them to rape. Eventually, this allowed us to kill
Singed and
Akali and pretty much remain full health. We thought it was GG, since it was 3v1, and that 1 was a Riven.
Then she killed us 3. By herself. We were near full-health. Lawl.
- We pretty much figured "it's gg". They pushed us aaaaall the way back and tried splitpushing. We went 2 bot, 1 top, and they did the reverse. Teemo died because of it, but so did singed. We went top, tried to manage them while healing. Riven was a bit underconfident coz she had lost a lot of hp. I noticed Akali awkwardly stopped and, pretty sure she dc'ed, preyed on her. Riven saw this, tried to prevent it, but we got the kill. She then raped me, nearly got lee and went back. Teemo came to life, decided to go to Vilemaw so we got the buff....and Riven was there. Dying. And then dead due to lee+teemo. Final push, gee gee (except we probs woulda lost if Akali didn't disconnect).
Conclusions:
- I gotta stop crying that Riven is absurd if she built 360+ AD with a last whisper and a black cleaver in the mix;
Teemo gives a good edge on 3v3 in terms of map, but if a champ like Riven gets fed, it may not help that much;
- Vilemaw is baddass;

Commentary:
- Before this match I had to promise Last Plagas I wouldn't cry again ever. I lied, but I didn't cry this match in particular :>
- People really fear post-nerf
Diana in 3S', it seems. Anyway, I had first pick but didn't fee like playing
Singed (dumb attitude for a ranked is dumb), so I just took
Gangplank because I can. They instalocked Xerath (wat? ok) and
Maokai. LastPlagas got a better CC'er mage because he's awesome like that, and Night picked his staple
Lee Sin, this time to lane;
- This time around, the enemy team were the ones who fumbled at where to go for first blood. We trapped them under mid brush,
Fiora nearly died and had to recall, but a little pressure and we were able to get First Blood on
Xerath (the guy was really confusingly bad, but he wrote something about "not able to see", so I dunno.)
- Top was a farmlane, since I was Bankplanking my day and not giving two ****s about Fiora, much to her rage. She tried engaging again and again, I just disengaged, Orange'd, and shot her face whenever her parry was on cooldown. And sometimes when it wasn't. Bot was doing fine, getting kills here and there.
- Then Fiora started ganking like mad. Literally every three minutes she would gank with a passion, blowing up her
Flash every time so she could dive our
Zyra (and make me whim about him not having hp, but that was it). Of course, playing with such a passion often got her killed first in real teamfights, and then the enemy just didn't pack the punch to go on (Xer would fire his lazors god knows where to and Maokai was a tree)
- Out of nowhere came the surrender. We accepted them throwing the towel and danced.
Conclusions:
- Winning versus teams just because they can't followup their fed snowballer is fun;
- Not having vision makes me paranoid;
Thank you Byron for 2014's loudest laugh up till today

Commentary:
- (Their team name means "suck my ****" in spanish :> )
- Pre-team agreement was trying to get Carlituz' with one of his usual jungers, Malphite or Amumu, since Last Plagas did not desire to go top AT ALL and we had our botlane agreed. However, bans did not go that way, and since
Evelynn was free (and our practice run I had jungled Eve anyway), we took her. Last Plagas calls it my "Eve paranoia" :P
Picks then followed sort of naturally, but enemy'sCho'Gath and
Dr. Mundo pick tricked us into taking
Gangplank (so Carlituz would Bankplank), and they took
Irelia afterwards. Last Plagas saw through their mid Cho and took
Morgana, because of how all the enemy CC came from magic damage and how she could just trap all those melees;
- Did my standard red start on
Evelynn, since we were blue team and from there I could gank enemy botlane. The gank was not successful because
Taric for some reason checked the river brush and my colleagues could not prepare the damage right. I decided to go blue and then top; GP pushed a lot but Irelia was nearly 2/3rds down on her hp.
The gank, however, did not go well. Just as she survived with 100 HP and got to her tower,Dr. Mundo ganked from nowhere and killed gp, chasing me afterwards. His AoE field hurt like hell, I was trapped in the brushes and could not go out. Enemy double kill, and two at least one assist to
Irelia, that one being First Blood;
- Our botlaners were doing good, however, and we decided to rush a 4-man gank. Enemy
Taric was not a very sure support and the time had passed for his wards to wear out and, despite carrying one, he did not place it.
Ezreal initiated boldly, momentarily confusing enemy
Sivir. I followed immediately, and so did
Morgana. We managed to clean them off.
Cho'Gath and
Dr. Mundo came late;
- Life was not kind to our top. I did manage to get a good gank on
Irelia with double ults and Red Buff, netting the kill, but this hardly stopped her. Soon enough, they had taken our top and middle towers, as well as their first dragon. This, however, also gave us a fed
Ezreal and a semi-fed
Evelynn (versus their fed
Cho'Gath,
Dr. Mundo and
Irelia). We used this advantage for another 4-man gank (where Last Plagas taught me how to flash correctly, apparently) and managed to clean them again. We got some towers down (Irelia left top alone for a bit).
- That's when we started making really good calls and putting ourselves together beautifully. The enemy dispersed a bit, with two priority targets repushing botlane, so we decided to kill Baron Nashor. When they realized what was going on it was too late, and their attemp to catch stragglers gave them a bad fight. Then, we decided to 5-man push botlane to get some towers and maybe force them to do a bad teamfight. We succeeded in acing them with a beautiful Pentasteal from Morgana (poor Ezreal, he deserved it too) and pushing up until we got their bot lane inhibitor. What had started as a bad game was now clearly bending towards our advantage.
- So now I decided we should do the same top, since they still had two towers. This strategy would overflow bot with minions, force them to separate and give us either towers or another bad teamfight. Once again, we succeeded, patiently laying siege at that tower until
Irelia had to go clean a wave from their Nexus Towers. We immediately initiated and got a good number of kills, as well as towers until their top inhibitor was also down. Baron respawned, we started going back for it and
Ezreal got the two last shots on their mid inhibitor tower.
- We got Baron Nashor, went to buy and started our final push. We had another teamfight, which cost us
Morgana and their
Irelia. From there, we just picked up those who got out of position to defend the Nexus Towers and won.
Conclusions:
- As usual, there is no reason to panic with bad starts;
- Pushing opposite lanes works very well;
- Our new AD carry is pretty good at cs'ing and in teamfights, although both of them need a bit more map awareness;
- I'm fond of my Eve Paranoia;

Commentary:
- The
Evelynn paranoia continues! I was a bit unsure if I was going to Jungle or Lane, but when the enemy locked
Twisted Fate, I decided I could lane perfectly versus that guy.
Picks started with me as Eve, then our opponents went forVayne and
Cho'Gath (making us wonder if cho would mid). Our botlaners got
Ezreal and
Zyra, they chose
Twisted Fate and
Nunu & Willump, and then we sealed with
Lee Sin +
Garen, who got countered by
Teemo.
- We started off with an attempted invade. I got a
Crystalline Flask and two sight wards so we could see what we were doing. However, Cho was in a weird river spot, revealing me. We still went in, and I nearly killed Cho, forcing him to go back and start behind. Lee resumed to red buff, everyone else to the lane, and enemy
Vayne had to help Cho since
Twisted Fate was apparently too busy farming, giving
Ezreal a slight level advantage. Lee ganked bot, but had accidently picked the wrong skill so he couldn't reach our adversaries;
- Garen got zoned pretty hard fast. I was doing fine mid, roughly the same CS as my enemy. Cho came twice but it was completely harmeless. Botlane was pressuring very hard, pushing the enemies to the tower really fast;
- First blood was toplane, for
Lee Sin. Teemo had pushed waaaay too much for someone without wards, and he could not escape the sheer mobility of his opponents + lee's red and slows. Botlane, I got a few hits on
Twisted Fate, he pushed me to the tower and started recalling under sight. I thought it might be a bait, but still went in with
Ravage and
Hate Spike, TF fumbled because he didn't expect it, and with the help of
Ignite and
Flash I killed him. Meanwhile, Ez was also getting fed;
- Things went a tiny bit harder when
Twisted Fate started using his ulti, but nothing remarkable.
Teemo was still hardzoning Garen, with a brutal CS difference (once I checked and it was 44 to 13).
Lee Sin started getting fed very hard, we got a few kills on TF where Lee would survive with like 4 HP (making the guy rage, but Hey! you started sheen so **** you). Eventually TF ulted again after an Ez double kill, I ran botlane. TF almost died from the gank, but Zyra was OOM and he wanted her. I went around, Zyra still managed to ****block and TF decided to path through the tribush. I ult'ed over the wall, collecting the kill;
- It was pretty easy, overall. They surrendered once the clock hit 20:00, 5 votes to 0;
Conclusions:
- There wasn't much to learn from this match, really. I think Garen could've done better if he had more confidence in what he was doing. Mid was easy, bot had it easy, if their mid champ were anything but TF it would've been even easier (unless some nasty AD Caster to rape me);

Everyone has two roles? Seeing as you have 6 players, that would be the most logical/optimal solution (it's also how we do it in my team, in which I, for example, am either AD or Solo Top).
Also, playing with a solo queue mentality isn't bad for laning phase, only thing you should practise is keeping each other updated about how the lanes are going, not only for your jungler but also to be able to determine whether you can go for an objective as a team (as in: if your bot is winning hard you can ask the jungler to come gank and force a kill then go for Dragon, stuff like that)
Yeah, we're usually good at aiding each other in lane (game 1 being the exception because mid was a farmlane, bot was losing hard and Alistar countered Rumble's roam), but even in normals and such LastPlagas and me always roam timely from mid, we got that from solo queue ^^
