High ELO players use unviable champions all the time to win. They build stuff like Tank Mundo, and AP Evelynn and still win, because the coordination in that ELO bracket is enough to compensate. Dan Dinh doesn't try to make Heimerdinger work every time. He does it when it suits him. They do that as a luxury to experiment with silly builds/picks every now and then because they either have allies coordinated enough to make it work, or can win back the ELO with their mains. That's not comparable to actually raising your ELO with Heimerdinger as a main. Picking Heimerdinger virtually EVERY TIME, unless the team is just totally trolling your wish to use Heimer.[/quote]
