If you knew anything about Monkey King, you'd know Tanky DPS doesn't suit his character at all. :(
And a specific design being subpar is no reason to support the halting of producing more champions of that design.
Melee-DPS are very fun. Master Yi, Nocturne, and Tryndamere are hilarious once they get rolling. And, I do believe Yi and Trynd are on the backburner for buffs/tweaks to make them more viable.

I just thought of something hilarious.
Referring to the video, WuKong technically has some impressively long reach with his cudgel.
What if Riot makes him a long-ranged melee champion? :D
Like, he'd look melee, but he had a range of 500+ !
Or, he could get a range-boosting skill like Kayle and Kog'maw, which involves his Golden Cudgel extending for superior reach!
I think that would look so cool! Being able to zone out ranged champions with a golden stick! :D

i first saw monkey king and was excited for him to come out. but he didnt it took a while
then they announced skarner and i was even more excited.
now monkey king comes before skarner meh.
id need another jungler all i have atm is noc^^.
him beeing a tanky dps would be strange:
yorick - tanky dps
leona- tank
money king -?
skarner - tanky dps
lol. a successfull melee dps would be nice. atm the only viable melee dps is nocturne (in my opinion because of his ccblocking shield, his distance fear his ult and his speed and his abillity to poke)
