He looks underwhelming because he's mostly AoE damage.
I dislike his ultimate.
I was expecting you to be able to start firing missiles, and they could be adjusted by your mouse for some epic "cover-fire" type action.

I don't get it. Is he a tank? AP nuke? Tanky DPS? All three? I know Phreak said something about tanky AP, but idk. Seems like he could be anything, so the role might not be an issue. I just don't want him at all, not in the slightest. Don't know why.
Cluster bombing from B-52s is very, very accurate -- the bombs always hit the ground.

I kinda like him. He's a melee tanky DPS, but he's AP. Closest thing we've had to that is Maokai.
I think he has a lot of potential being built as a tanky AP user who, as Phreak did, solos top lane.
Boots+4 pot start, invest in heavy zoning in top lane.
Item build:
Boots or Doran's Shield start
E-W-Q start
Not sure if you want to max E or Q first, but I think E. We have to see the numbers first.
Final item build probably being something akin to Merc Treads, Rylai's Crystal Scepter, Lich Bane, Hourglass, Abyssal Scepter, Guardian Angel.
