Well, fort is just way too high up in the defense tree to make it any useful. I'm afraid that the same will be said for Garrison since it's taking the same spot :(

Garrison interrupts enemy channels and reinforces your own capture points, or hugely debuffs enemy capture points.

It's very useful. Much more then Fortify.
Irrelevant to whether or not you have the mastery. :P

In the game it looks like you have to be near the capture points to even activate it... Is that correct? o.o

Dat Oden's Veil....10% Reduction in Magic Damage AND ~50 MR....Looks like Tryndamere is going to have a field day with squishy champs.

No clue. TotalHalibut didn't ever really use his spells until the Riot member reminded him.

So, that could be a coincidence and have a bigger range, or it could be how it works.

wow, I'm actually really excited for this, gone are the days of obsessive farming, and we no longer have to be so focused on avoiding death now, this looks really fun. I imagine kill counters are going to be much higher though.
I imagine we are going to have to redefine champ roles from carry, tank, etc. to offense (mobility for capturing), defense (holding points), and support (basically everything else)
