LoL is more forgiving when you die because the game realizes how ******ed pug groups can be. :V

Ehh, I played LoL BETA and HoN BETA, closed and open, I prefer HoN. Thing is though LoL is free.

I have been playing alot less LoL the latest week, and i have started playing alot more.
I belive this have many reasons, so here we go!
If u don't know it already, i played HoN before LoL, and i played Dota before HoN, and i like dota more than both these new generation MOBA's!
Somethings i just like more in HoN than LoL is: Requires alot more skill! Yepp i said it! HoN/Dota requires more skill than LoL, and before you rage me down, listen!
LoL is alot more forgiving than HoN, u don't loose gold when you die, and it is not really that big of a deal if u die. But in HoN, giveing a kill to the wrong hero can cost you the game!
HoN requires alot more teamsynergy, in HoN you really need a teamcombo like: 1 hardcarry, 1 inniator 1semicarry 1 support and 1 ganker! And u need to make sure u have lanes set out that u don't have 2 meele on the same lane and etc.
A jungler in HoN have to deal with: creep pulling, creep stacking and rune controll, and not to speak of how the gankeing works!
The laneing phase is have alot more life in HoN than LoL (in my opinion). Herrasing actualy means something in HoN, u can't just buy a regrowth pendant and eat it. In HoN, ur tango's can't keep u alive forever.
I always feel the risk of getting killed in HoN, in LoL there is always have the: "it is cool, if they try to kill me i will just back upp 1 meter to my tower".
There is actually a risk in pushing to long in HoN, the map is way bigger so u can't predict when some1 is gonna gank u as easy! If mid is missing in LoL, just go kill golem/wolfes/wraiths and come back. In HoN if mid is missing, u can't just go kill some jungle creeps and come back. Either doesn't u have any jungle creeps, or u just can't take em on without loosing to much hp. And there is always the risk of the ganker haveing a invis rune, or haste rune!
I like that late game is depending on this one character being fed/farmed, why? well mostly becouse i ussaly play this char and i love fraggs :) and it gives me a role and i will follow it!
There is many little things i like more with LoL than HoN also, and there is things i like more in LoL than HoN! But right now, i enjoy HoN more. Maybe i am just tierd of HoN.. who knows :S But right now it is more HoN than LoL for me!
