It hurts me to say this, but both Ahri and Ryze are better in mid than Lux.
However the advantage Lux has, is underestimation. Recently they buffed her quite a bit (lolled) and she has that shield... which saves so many lives if used correctly.
But those 3 are so different... Ryze has his tankiness, Ahri has her mobility and Lux has her range/burst.
Lastly: If you want to, just try Lux out in a few Normal Drafts, and see how you do.

That's what i think i'll end up doing, playing her against team comps that im confident i can do well against.

This is happening less and less. Since the buff, I've seen so many people play lux that it's rather insane.
