^walked to work in the 3 degree (-16 for you C people) weather once, can confirm (it suddenly dropped more than 50 degrees over two days).

It's 0 (-17) degrees outside. I'm indoors wearing two layers, while covered in four blankets, and I'm freezing. I should maybe consider getting an electric blanket or a space heater.
-17C?? It's 21 here. I live in a place where it rarely snows. Yet I do get a cold every other week...
It should be noted that the only thing SOUTH Dakota is south of is NORTH Dakota (not entirely true, but you get the idea). It's closer to Canada than it is to Texas (I probably don't really need to point that out, but people sometimes make stupid assumptions because it's called "South" Dakota). It was almost 60 (15) degrees on Sunday, 15 (-9) on Monday, and the last couple nights it's been in single digits. Here in SD the weather is made up and the seasons don't matter so huge temperature changes like that happen all the time.
