entertaining couple of games. Zyra game seemed totally lost for a bit, my friends were bot lane but the one that was adc is really bad at laning so she plays support and jungle a lot. (she just isn't good at laning mechanics) Meanwhile top and jungle were okish, top got ganked a couple times. I pretty much had control of my lane. I solo killed the enemy ori around 6, roamed a little to help with fights. Basically even though the enemy jinx was stupidly fed we just completely out teamfighted them because I was also kinda fed and zyra is a 1 man teamfighter, or, 1 woman teamfighter. enemy Vi started going as hard as possible to kill me in every teamfight which kinda sucked since i couldn't survive her that well. I mainly just tried to get one rotation off before this happened.
To all the people that claim zyra is weak, I bet you never thought of this build did you. Basically i acted like lux. When I play lux i take heal and some utility masteries for biscuits. I go tear>ludens and then just go straight ap from there. Sometimes i get mejais if i'm doing well since lux is pretty long range and can be safe. I decided to try it with zyra and see how it worked, pretty much accomplished the exact same thing, just instead of a big laser I had a ton of plants. If you just kinda waveclear like lux then you will scale up into teamfighting stage just fine. I also use this build with veigar too and I'm looking for other mages that work like this. I'm not a huge fan of xerath and I would probably cut out the tear since his passive basically covers mana for him. I might try this with anivia although I usually do tear and roa on her.
2nd game was pretty simple, laned against a malz but he brought tp instead of ignite and i got 2 ganks early so I pretty much just ran around and killed people and did yasuo things. Enemy jinx probably had a bad day after i wind walled her off 2 turrets in a row while we took them, she couldn't waveclear, poor thing.
