He lacks damage honestly.
His Q that does 25% of their HP is reduced by MR. Unless you're doing magic-pen Mundo, it's not a great skill. It also doesn't scale at all.
The damage from W is terrible and E scales on how hurt you are. His kit doesn't mesh well together, because he revolves around healing, and he's easily countered by ignite.

His skills need a huge rework. The simple fact that they all burn on your health means that instead of playing a character, you've got to play the items.
Other than that, nothing. I've had variable degree's of success with mundo. He can solo baron at level 7, which is pretty cool.

Now that is qualified ********. At least some of it. His cleaver scales from 15-25% and with a minimum of 80-280 health.
His W puts out 40-100 damage per second, plus 0.2/ap. Not too bad scaling for aoe damage aura.
And E, even at full health and lvl 18 you have almost 200 AD with no ad items. Try building warmogs, rylais, frozen hammer and atmas you will hurt like hell in close combat. With around 4k health and fon/atmas you won't go down easily and even with ignite its only a few seconds on your 12 secs ultimate...

and then kogmaw laughs in your face as he does %hp damage and absolutely ***** in mundo's mouth.

A quick build on him says Boots of Swiftness, FoN, GA, Warmogs, Frozen Mallet, Atmas. Which gives me, with health quints, arp reds, Ar yellows, MR blues around 12k effective health against both physical and magical damage, 200 AD without E and around 440 in ms. Want more def go tabis or Mercs, want more damage go Zerks or Sorcs...

Ignite does not counter his ultimate, it counters a third of it ;p I agree that he needs work, but built correctly you can put out quite a bit of damage and survive most.

I am not stating that Mundo is a great champion, but he is considered to be so bad I never see him. Then last week I played with a Mundo that was so bad I for once asked the player to read up on the game before trying it again. After that I had to try Mundo myself to see how much was the champ and how much the player.
Since then I've played 7 or 8 games Mundo and haven't lost one and carried a few.
Once again I don't claim him to be anything OP or spectacular, I just want to know what you think are his weaknesses?
To me he is similar to Shyvana but without gapcloser but with slow! So he has the cc a good jungler needs and his AD-boost is ****ing huge! Only skill that scales with ad/ap is w, the others are damage based purely on skill and opponent health. So he can build tanky, he scales well off health on both passive and ultimate.
What does he lack?
