See but in ranked hes a common pick.
The only major part of the nerf is the change to the blinding effect for Phos bomb...I see why it was removed at the same time I say why remove it at all? It gave Corki some added benefit...That being he could do have a slight advantage in 1v1s or even 2v1s...Like agaist Xin Zhao or Udyr, hell even Nocture...But now the blind is gone leaving Teemo as the only champ with a blind that effects creeps and champions...That nerf was a bit silly IMO, as for the damage decreases that isn't overly harsh...

What else is new to riot's balancing system?
^^ Nothing, except they seem to be overly assured that their nerfs are for the greater good of lol.
Which IMO means champs become less unique, Corki had his blind like MF has make it rain, or Caitlyn 90 cal net/traps. Ashe has volley and perma slow. Teemo has blinding darts/mushrooms. The added utility of their abilities varies in type, scale, and overall benefit to a team. Why remove Corki's chance to blind? Its strength is only against melee. A long list of reasons I have as to why Corki should keep his blind is running through my head. Do I think it will be missed? Slightly, but patches can always bring it back.

Riot was concerned about how easily Corki shut down other AD Carries in lane with that miss-chance. So they decided to remove it.
This decision went through because he could still reveal brushes, which was already a very strong tool for side-lanes in the current Carry+Support bottom lane meta.

Corki is not an easy champion to play because you have to know how to initiate, time your escapes, and track your big ones on your ult.
He's not hard, but he's not easy either. Where as Caitlyn, Vayne, and Ashe are VERY easy.
