I'm getting a little pissed every time I see this.
I mean, seriously, in a balanced game, do you really always have the blue on ? Because last time i checked it lasted ~3min with mastery, whereas the golem respawn is 5min ; add the (small) time to kill him, and you realize you only have it, at best, half the time.
Assuming it wasn't stolen by the enemey, which should "never happen", but happens.
And assuming you don't die and get your Blue stolen, which should never happen but happens, too.
Regardless, I generally agree with going on Sorcery instead of Lucidity : masteries + blue pot gives you 19%, which should be enough for most of the time when you can't have Blue.
But sometimes, in some games, a little Fiendish Codex can help (which can be turned in a useful Deathfire... too bad the item range is not boosted by Locus).

Too bad, Xerath is a lightning turret, not a fire one. :D
And laser turrets are cool too. Though his Q (when increased in range) could be a little brighter~
But then Finales Funkeln wouldn't be as epic.....
