Should a FAQ/Support tab be prominent and visible to new/all members?
Wonder at what time you got this idea ^.^
If I have helped you in some way, or you enjoyed my work some "Rep" would be nice ;)
About the time someone PM'd me about C2V ;P

haha, thanks Caster.
Anyone else think this is a decent idea? Or any reasons why this tab, an easily accessible FAQ link that is extremely visible, shouldn't be implemented?
I ask for this tab because new users are not aware there are forums and don't have easy access to the out of date FAQ threads.

It'll be very useful in directing new users as well. I mean there's tons of available space left on the build and guides bar, why not add the FAQ?

You need to log in before commenting.
When you click on this tab, you will either be brought to the support forum, or a remade FAQ page where all the "standard" questions are written and answered with up to date links.
(possibly could link to this:
When you hover your mouse over it, a drop down menu appears (like the other tabs) with FAQs displayed with working and up to date links (How does Voting Work? How do I Create a Guide? Coding Help etc). The drop down menu would have to appear to the left as opposed to the right in order to keep the box "inside" the intended user space.
It's not hard to search the forums for what you want to know (the search function of this site is awful, 9/10 I don't find what I'm looking for even if I type nearly the exact title of the thread), but even I had trouble finding the thread about Scout Points etc.
So, anyone agree with me that a FAQ/SUPPORT tab should be added to the header at the top?
Clear Advantages:
+ Site becomes uber super user friendly
+ Mods/Vets/Admin won't be PM'd as much about trivial matters
+ There's one place to link from now on when someone asks a simple MobaFire question and I don't have to hunt down the appropriate thread/write a lengthy answer via PM myself because I can't find said thread
Disadvantages:
- Admins will have to make this new tab and keep it updated.
- All FAQ threads would have to be updated
