TL;DR: Professional, organized play will have the following pick and ban order. Matchmade games will use a different pick/ban order, the details of which will be released at a later date.

Pick/ban phases (at least in organized play) will also be moving to 30 seconds per phase, down from 60 seconds. (Source)

I never liked the idea of pro play having a different ruleset than normal play, even though it would be needed for easier balance. This seems like a good middle ground where the needed changes don't actually change the game being played though.

This. Although it is suggested it's being considered for normal play as well. Makes sense though, the cast has grown by quite a lot ever since 6 bans became the staple. I personally always feel there's way too much ebola left post ban phase <.<

I like the System for Pro Play, although I can see why it will not be applied to the rest of the playerbase.

However, I do not like the idea of different Ban Systems, but I guess it is inevitable since Pro Play is team play, whereas the rest is more of a "SoloQ"-ish style and could generate a lot of problems.

It's being considered but they don't have a way around the infuriatingly long pick phase times. Maybe it could be applied to 5-man dynamic premades, but not in soloqueue. I don't know if they have the technology for that though.

I think banning has more time than required, plus if you miss it you're out of queue which means people will be less afraid of doing it faster as there would be 5 per team.

Idk, maybe they could try a total of 8 bans. I really do feel the current 6 bans are very outdated.

How much is it? iirc it was 15-30 seconds. 15 sounds nice and 30 is a bit too much, but people often ban immediately while taking a bit more time to pick the champion they'll play. Personally I would cut champion pick times to 30-15 seconds and add a final 30-60 seconds phase so that the last guy has time to do masteries and pick runes. As it is now, it would suck to plainly add bans more than it would help.

looking at it again i guess its not as bad as i thought originally given you'll have a normal draft phase and then the chance to pick 3 champions the same as normal. means some champions will probably go high up in priority and we'll see bans towards teamcomp more.

not sure i like it, but it's okay.

Just imagine when someone goes afk at the end of the champion select. That's like 10 minutes wasted.
