I don't think any lore is particularly good honestly. I like Thresh's lore but it doesn't make a lot of sense really. He used to be a human, a prison warden who tortured prisoners, mostly with chains. Then during a prison riot, the prisoners killed him, they hung him by his own chains. So why and how is he now undead and how come he now collects souls and stuff? Dunno.
