I got myself onto the Chinese servers.
It's a lot like a first person shooter game.
You actually have to aim your skills, or there's high chance of you missing and looking like an idiot. :P
But you get the added fun of a third person character control sort of deal. ^_^
I'm hoping they someday allow you to switch the targeting to the left side, for left-handed people. Would
also be refreshing since your view is always slightly to the right.

It focuses a lot of on mouse-aiming/clicking over button-mashing.
One noteworthy thing is it has voice acting, awesome voice acting at that. :)
The UI is also closer to Halo + WoW then Vindictus.
Game play wise, you also have to kite and dodge the enemies a lot more.
The enemy system is very advanced.
Mobs can flank you, try to sneak around, or even just plain bum-rush you if it suits them. They don't just form a straight line. Some are even fast enough to dodge attacks.

The most notable feature is that mobs will organize naturally, some rushing you head on while others flank you from the sides, making the grinds a little more intense.
The most basic mobs will bum rush you, but any round of hits can knock you onto the floor, which turns your dps to zero for 2~3 seconds.
Archer-type mobs will generally stay back, but they're not very good at running away if you get into their faces.
Warrior-type mobs have armor/shields which means they take little damage, and can't be knocked down without strong burst.
Ghouls can jump right onto you and nom nom nom... Hate those.
The AI's pretty basic, but it's the numbers that make it more complex. As the mobs become more numerous and durable, the instance becomes more difficult.
As you raise the difficulty, each instance's mobs' health and numbers go up.
The difficulty ranges are: Easy, Normal, Hard, Master, and Abyss.
Master and Abyss recommend parties of 4, as the mob amounts are huge. Unless you're like twice the instance's level, it's good to follow the recommendation.

I'll probably make the decision when I better understand the classes as english databases open up.

Dungeons are private, like in Mabinogi. So it's relatively safe from hackers.
Plus, the end game is reached pretty easily. The 2nd job (see saint/inquisitor for examples) is at merely level50.
So, level-hacks won't be very impacting.
There is gold farming-hacks being done in every game, this is old news.
Account hacking is also present in every MMO, no game is 100% safe, although I admit, Nexon isn't the best company to place your trust for customer satisfaction in.
Your concerns are exaggerated.
Also, this game isn't made by Nexon. It's merely being published by it.
Only concern is whether or not they make it NX-dependent. If they do, I'm moving to the ChinaServer, have access to a guide for signing up with it. :)
