"I also am Otherkin. Whenever autumn rolls around I can feel my kin-type slowly taking over my body. You must know, I identify as pumpkin. I can control it pretty good most of the time, but when September ends, I just cant hold it in anymore. Whenever Im outside I see my brothers and sisters being chopped into soup, coffee, donuts, cake, drinks, bread - ppl even cut human faces into their skin, making a mockery out of their noble appearance. When I see things like that I cant control my pumpkin urges anymore. My natural instincts kick in. I then sit down motionless, while getting bright orange." - Morgana L

Yeah, this is a work in progress. WE had roughly a hour to film everything on the clock. We plan on adding more to it in general. We want to do movie scenes with vital points changed to Stubs cards information.
And apperently it does what it is supposed to do... you asked "What is Stubs" and that is all we want. Finished product will have links to all the information on how to get one. Basically its moviewater 2.0 instead of getting a free "something" every about 10 visits. You get every 100 bucks you spend is 10 bucks back and 10% off concession.
The idea of these movies as they get finished is to get people interested in an alternative marketing practice. The current promos for Stubs are bland, and boring. So we decided... why do they have to be?

Like I said in a prior post, this is a work in progress - not finished product. So you can help us improve. What punchline are you referring to?
In the original script of this whole thing, it was supposed to be we were playing angry birds with rubber duckys. After collecting about 50 of them a) someone stole our collection b) no one showed up to film c) Our slingshot didn't work. AS a result we reshot what we could and were going to make it done with a car plowing though the boxes action movie style. But the cops pulled up saw a bunch of boxes and fireworks... and quickly vetoed it.
As a result, we were kinda stuck with just us, with a bunch of boxes, some duckys and a shopping cart.
Like I said before, we have another one shot - which looks a lot better. But we couldn't show it til Thor was out of most theaters due to the fact it is the secret ending ver batum changing the item in question to a stubs card.

Oh my. I'd have to say it's pretty good for the amount of trouble you had to work around ^_^

It wasn't that bad for an amateur performance!
Things you need to work on:
1) More of a clear distinction between the two products
2) Using a cast that is really attractive (there's no problem with you two guys, but if you really want viewers, you're going to want attractive people to sell your product - if you don't know anyone attractive, just ask some people off the street to help. You'd be surprised how many people would love to star in a movie/commercial for free if they get a copy of the link to show their friends on Facebook).
3) This is what I think you were aiming for:
To achieve something like this, you need to:
- have a short and sweet video
- keep the audience attention at all times
- have a setting/occurrence that is unusual/memorable
- play appropriate music at the right times
Because I have no idea what stubs are, I just had no idea what was going on at all. I know you said you'd explain all this in a different video, but you do need to make it clear what you are selling/advertising.
Good luck, and don't forget to post back here with more videos :)

WE know how the "Interwebs" work. You don't just get famous right away - you have to work towards it. However - for however many views we get we will be allowed to continue making these movies - on company time.
Our GOAL is to make videos that you will enjoy like a ad for Geiko, Progressive, or any other "Fad Ad" as we call it. Only it will be related to movies. This video is our first one so far.
Spoiler WARNING - Our next video will be our take on the ending to Thor and Iron Man.... so if you want to see it we will need views people! Thanks for all the help!
