Bridge is a card game. It is also known in the US as "that card game your parents played but you couldn't possibly understand the rules for because you weren't old enough".
In other news, I duo'ed with a friend of mine in ranked. My comp blue screened right at the start of the first one, so I got to lane against a mord who was 3 levels above me at the start, and my shop didn't have HP potions available for me. (turns out they were under armor, with an image of cloth armor. WTF) But I managed to catch up, and we ended up just rolling them. I was Irelia, btw. And their jungle Riven was bad. Very bad.
Second game I get to be Ahri mid, and that Swain just couldn't deal with me. All of our lanes were doing pretty well, even though Nid kept getting ganked by jungle Tryn. Tryn ganked me once while our jungle xin was close, and we ended up killing both tryn and swain. After that, swain was boned for the rest of the game, and tryn wasn't much better off.
So yay for getting about 50 elo in two games. AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO BE A SUPPORT BECAUSE OTHER PEOPLE CALLED IT. I AM SO PROUD OF HUMANITY RIGHT NOW. :D

I started learning when I was 6, at the same time as my dad :P I believe it is more commonly known as Contract Bridge in other countries :)

Nah, we call it Bridge here. At least that's how I know it as. My parents played it with the neighbors, and my grandparents tried to teach me how, since I kept reading the Bridge columns in the local paper.
At the time, though, I was about 5 or so, and I just didn't pay much attention. I don't want you to think I'm making fun of it, though. I just didn't really pick up an interest for it.

^ Oh no, I didn't take it that way, sadly the game is mostly played by elderly people. It is really fun, and I believe it actually teaches you some life lessons as well :)
