Personally, I feel that Trump is over-antagonised in the media. Don't get me wrong, he's still an idiot and he does some ******ed things, but it's not like everything he spews out is racist, patriotic and simply dumb *****. The infamous "build a wall" quote actually isn't literally building a wall to keep Mexicans out. He wants to build a wall with a, "big red door," on it for people who want to come into the US legally. Combating illegal immigrants really is something that I'd imagine needs to be addressed in America. Of course, we're talking illegal immigrants here, not asylum seekers.
Regardless, he's still an awful choice for president. The only reason he's even gotten this far is a mixture of far too much attention in the media, as well as what he's saying being so extreme and so far one-sided in a political sense that it actually appeals to a large amount of less than intelligent Americans. I feel like should he actually be elected, America would not make any meaningful progress as a country, or any meaningful positive progress. I feel bad for American people as they don't really have any presidential candidates that seem like good presidential candidates.
Part of me wants to actually see Trump be elected just to see how ****ed up the world would become, but then I realised I'm actually in this world. So yeah, maybe not.
