QFT

except the carry alone and win part

if ONLY that happened EVERY game

sometimes those teams tho dude...T_T

but yea, the IDEA is to carry alone and win, helps if you have a team :P

doesn't always work that way tho :C

Teammates exist to distract the enemy, that's all.

You see that? That's not an ally! That's a delicious cookie to bait your enemies with!

Thanks to The Nameless Bard and Vavena for the sigs!

List of best solo queue champs:

1. Nasus. You are very hard to kill, you can deal a ****load of damage because most noobs don't know how to play against you correctly and you also get Aegis most of the time which helps out the noobs that think they don't need defensive items at all a little.

You can initiate if people are scared to, which is normal in solo queue. You can shut down high AS champs like Yi with 1 skill and you can slow people very hard with that same skill, enabling your team to catch up.

2. Cho'Gath. If you play him tanky AP, he owns. He is one of the best farmers in the game. He destroys creepwaves very fast and has amazing sustain in lane. It's good to be on a 1v1 lane with Cho'Gath. You will most likely outfarm your opponent and maybe get an early Deathcap. Like Nasus, you also deal a ****load of damage and if you can land your Q and W, the rest of your team will jump in without fear.

3. Jax. Pretty strong harass and rather good farm once you get your ultimate stacking. If you get Hextech Gunblade and Guinsoo, the game is over. OVER. Jax is a little bit too strong in my opinion. He outheals and dodges most of your damage while dealing even more than you are. Late game he's almost undefeatable with full build. Say hi to pentas?

4. Brand. Another amazing farmer. In solo queue you can pretty much own team fights just because you are Brand. You also outfarm your opponent because of the W/E combo which, if you place it right and have a little AP or rank, instantly kills ranged minions and the melee will be on a last hit.

Nasus has a really bad lane, one of the main reasons that he isn't so great in solo queue.
Tri lane for life.

Solo-Queue depends on the ELO levels.

Every ELO bracket has it's own meta.

If you want a guide-line: Go for strong pushers.

First priority of any game is to fight well(win your lane, ward up, position well for fights, all that jazz).
Past that, you want to be able to push down turrets like a beast. Destroying towers is what wins games.
Master a strong pusher like Caitlyn, Heimerdinger, Shaco, Tristana, Twisted Fate, Tryndamere, Warwick, Xin Zhao, etc., and you'll do very well.

At some point like 1600+, you'll have to start picking more smart for the meta. So, then it depends on your own style and what you do best.

Nasus doesn't have a bad lane. He has a passive lane but he can go aggressive once he gets his Sheen. His Spirit Fire, once you level it a bit, kills an entire creep wave with 1 cast and the rank BEFORE you achieve that leaves every minion one SS away from death.

His farm is good and once he farms enough he is unstoppable and normally Solo Queue isn't coordinated enough to come gank you. Your only problem in lane would be if it's a 1v2 for you and your jungler is ******ed. Wither, ult, Spirit Fire for AR, your jungle ccs... kill.

And if you have at least +100-150 dmg on your SS, after killing off the champions in your lane with help from your jungler/by yourself/with your lane partner, you can kill a turret in less than 10 seconds with that double hit (hit once, SS ((resets swing timer)), rinse, repeat). Proccing sheen and pwning that turret.

I'm really liking Wukong, he hurts mad and with his Q + AS buff, he can eliminate towers so quickly; also farms really well with E.

Thanks to TRUeLM, Plastictree, Scrax, Xiaowiriamu, foggy12, JahGFX, jhoijhoi, msrobinson, JEFFY40HANDS, Nyoike, MissMaw, and me :) for the sigs!

No, seriously, if I'm an Udyr, Mordekaiser, Yorick, Garen, Singed, Jax, Warwick, Irelia, Akali, Renekton, Cho'Gath, Gragas, Alistar, Maokai, Nidalee, Rumble, Teemo, or even Veigar, I will either ignore you, or just walk all over you in lane.
Tri lane for life.

If you can do a good duo, or are a competent jungler, having a Nasus teammate 1v2 is a great idea. He makes great bait for ganks and can flip around to kill someone at the drop of a hat. if he's 1v2 without a competent jungler... he's SOL.

Right now, pantheon is amazing for solo queue. Can dominate a lane, has great damage and above-average survivability, and can split push well with his ultimate.
