I think this is going to make him incredibly strong when Dr. Mundo gets the right matchup. Before, he was always strong when he's allowed to scale and then get an ideal teamfight where he can zone the carries, and sometimes even kill them 1v2. This is going to help him when it comes to dueling, but of course as Vynertje said he will still be a weak early game laner who need an ideal situation to shine.

Dont think it will change much. He'll be a better laner and duelist but it doesnt change a weak early game and the amount of matchups in the current meta. If anything, it changes the point in time in which Mundo can start taking over a lane.
Exactly my thoughts, it doesn't help his early game, but it does allow him to start out-dueling people earlier. I am not sure what you mean by "amount of matchups". Are you trying to say counters?

Yeah, agreed. If Mundo was able to win easily against some champs, he's going to be able to shove them out a lot earlier (maybe even before level 6?). Zoning should become easier too, since that one auto attack can disembowel carries, but I can't say anything until I test it.
Anyhow, it was good to see Mundo is getting some attention from Riot. Thanks for your opinion guys ;)

I think this is a Juggernaut-like buff for Mundo, thats why they increased the damage by a lot. Also, since we see less and less Ignite, with Teleport overtaking mid lane, Mundo gets stronger as well.
BTW: Tooltip is right, 1% of 40 is 0.4, 1% of 55 is 0.55 and so on.

Thanks for your input! Yeah, I wasn't sure about the tooltip, since Heart Zapper's tooltip is incorrect (ALL CC is reduced, not just slows and stuns).

I found out that the following build is very effective:
Teleport + Ghost
Mercury's Treads - Distortion, Spirit Visage, Dead Man's Plate, Titanic Hydra, Warmog's Armor, Sunfire Aegis.
No more cleavers, rather Hydra+E = 1200 damage.

Dr. Mundo deals an additional 5% of his TOTAL health damage on his next basic attack and increases AD by 40/55/70/85/100 plus 1 for every 1% missing health he has.
To me, who has played this guy for ages, it looks like a very, VERY good buff. Let me bore you with some math!
Dr. Mundo has, at level 6, 934 health, 73 base AD. With Sunfire Aegis and Greater Seal of Scaling Health, his total health at that level becomes 1455,82. 5% of that amout equals to ~73. That, in addition to 40 AD from level 1 Blunt Force Trauma plus 73 base AD equals to ~186. AND, if Dr. Mundo happens to be missing 50% health, that's an extra 20 AD, which brings us to the grand total of ~206 damage on one basic attack at level 6 (not counting resistances), which is HUGE!
His Blunt Force Trauma already melted through low-health targets like ADC/APCs, but now it will just delete half their health in 2-3 autos.
I can also see Blunt Force Trauma being taken at level 1 instead of Infected Bonesaw. If Mundo happens to be missing 70% of his health at level 1 (let's suppose you all-in your opponent) and activate his E, your first auto-attack will deal ~162 damage (not counting resistances)! That is pretty much an execute (not really, but it IS huge) at level 1. At full health, Blunt Force Trauma deals little less damage than Infected Bonesaw so I think it will definitely be something worth testing out.
What do you guys think? Will he become a better fighter? What do you think about Titanic Hydra Dr. Mundo?
Also, correct me if my math is wrong, I ***'d up in the middle and I am not sure if I fixed everything.
EDIT: LoL Wiki states that Mundo's AD is increased by 1 per 1% health he has missing, but MOBAFire states that is increased by 0.4/0.55/0.7/0.85/1. I am ALMOST 100% sure MOBAFire is wrong, because his Heart Zapper has the same outdated tooltip, but just for the sake of maths, I did it with 0.4.
