It should reduce the autoattack portion of skills which amplify the same, though. (

As said above, a chance to completely negate damage is much better then 10% reduction. Dodge was strong because it impacted the outcome of AD fights so dramatically. With the Nimbleness mastery you could literally escape any situation by just leaving. I wish they would add more AD reduction because i'm tired of Vayne roaming around criting me for god knows what.

So... some maths.
Old tabi, 12 % dodge chance. That means you dodge 12 out of 100 hits. Let's say an AD carry deals 60 damage per hit, you would receive 6000 - 720 = 5280 damage.
New tabi, 10 % damage reduction. You receive 6000 - 600 = 5400 damage.
So a 1.2 damage per hit nerf. Seriously, not much happened.
And yes, I know you were able to get dodge from runes too, but that does not affect the effectivity of tabi.

Generally speaking when it comes to functionality, you'll get more out of a dodge than you would out of damage reduction.
