Why not just get the Infinity Edge and the Cloak of Agility to start Phantom Dancer

Boots3X Health Potion, Berserker's Greaves, Infinity Edge, Cloak of Agility

This whole tuff guy with doran's blades just seems kind of out of the way for lane dominance that isn't worth 800 gold when your opponent will have their b. f. sword twice as fast. If you have 2 dorans blade I can just get an elixir and have nearly as much health and damage for an important fight at half the price and can sell it for even more later if we never have that fight.

Let me run a scenario for you here.

Let's assume that bot lane is 100% farm lane. Perfect last hits all around, no kills from either side.

You both B at about 1K gold because, you're out of mana, health ect.
Carry A goes and grabs 2 Doran's Blades while carry B just buys some health pots or something else.
Carry A now has a huge advantage because he has 200 more HP, 20 more AD and 6% more life steal.

Long story short: He can force trades and win them easily.

Carry B is now zoned out in fear of dying but still manages to get to his BF Sword about 2-3 minutes later after this happens. He's also about 20-30 CS under carry A, assuming no kills were exchanged. Maybe more if he dies.

Doran's are for getting and holding an advantage.

Also, with that build you've theorized, you have very little damage compared to someone who goes like this:
Boots-> Doran's Blade-> Doran's Blade-> B. F. Sword

Less HP too. The only thing you have on them is MS and crit chance. That's not always going to come into play every attack. HP and AD will.

Thank you to jhoijhoi for the sig, and all the dividers in the guide.

I like how "NicknameMy-y" is being used ^^

It's way better than that though.
It's a viable tactic. I still think Zeal is a viable choice early on though.

Not really :p

You got it for getting a huge edge over your enemy with the movespeed, the nerf hit it quite hard.

Avarice blade, or nuthin.
Ty MM and Blood for the sigs :3 | Rammus is comming back - heard it here first!
