Best toplaners?

I always play mid/jg but I wish I could start playing on top too. When I was new to the game, I used to play Akali and Teemo top a lot, but I find both kinda boring and the moment (I just play Akali mid). Then, after the rework I started playing Kayle but I will not pick her on ranked games since I often loose against champions like Teemo, Darius or Garen, yeah, it's stupid. So, something pretty strong but also not hard to learn? What can you guys recommend?

I'd give and a try. They can handle a lot of the tougher laners and they're not very complicated. is my go-to pick at the moment if I get filled top.

Another option would be to pick up a ranged champion like or or something. You can get through a lot of matchups easier if you outrange them (especially ).

If you're going for easy and good, I'd recommend Quinn, she is (I think) around the forth best top laner and is dead easy to learn. Urgot, Vayne and Riven are also really good, but do bare in mid they are a bit more difficult and Riven requires a lot of commitment to learn how to animation cancel on, but Urgot is quite straight forward and Vayne isn't too hard.

ryze is good if you can put the time into learning him. check out my guide to help, but with the upcoming changes hes going to be a lot easier, whether r/ryzemains like it or not.

I hear a lot of people that say that Riven is hard to play, but I find it pretty easy, she is a strong top laner, btw teemo is just awfully bad, even if he wins lane because he is ranged, he will not be able to do anything in late game, just don't ragequit until then
