    Champion guide: rating threats/enemy champions

How does one rank the threats and synergies of your champion with others, because I find that when I play jungle, I can deal with most threats when our lanes are not feeding, farming well and backing away when enemy jungler appears, even when the enemy has a slightly better lead it doesn't necessarily pose a huge threat to you.

Would you then just rate those threats on a 1 v 1 basis?

A jungler that beats you in a 1v1 will counterjungle you hard to abuse this advantage if they're any good, and you just can't play the game.

So yes, 1v1 matters a lot, in fact it matters more for junglers than for laners since in lane you can always play safe behind minions/tower and in jungle you can't.

Copying DutchWolf's answer here since I deleted the duplicate question.
Yeah that's usually the best way to do it I think. I just rank threahs from a scale of CANT DO *beep* to EASY PICKIN', with SKILL MATCHUP in the middle (most fall in this catagory)...depends on ELO as well tho, since in Gold/Silver/Bronze....it really doesn't matter tbh. I mean, Draven should be a counter to my Nidalee support, or Morgana should be a nightmare for Leona, yet you can still take that matchup and turn it quite easily most of the time. There are some harder matchups and some champs that work really well together...but at the end of the day, in low ELO the roles are madeup and the picks don't matter.

True, roles never matter. victory is based on who feeds who more, in low elo. An even game can go on forever because no one knows how to close them. That's why I skipped those sections in my guides because I can never tell if my team is good or the enemy jungler just sucks =)).
