So recently I started adding more thematic colours into my guides. I am now sticking to 1 or 2 colours and I no longer combine random ones just to make my guide look prettier (SPOILER ALERT: it doesn't :D). However using wiki links like this --> seem to change the color of the text to blue witch is directly countering the color scheme I want to use. So my question is: If I would decide to change the color of the wiki-text to for example --> - wouldn't it make it look too unclear? I mean does the everyday reader realize that it is a hyperlink that has special abilities when you hover over it or left-click it?

You can change the text color, it's fine. Multiple authors already use it because it's more convenient for a good color scheme, the icon of the ability/item/rune etc. is still there so readers will still be able to know that it's both a link and a tooltip.

The only reason it's a blue color is because that's the default one specifically made because of how the site's color scheme is (it used to be a dark shade of yellow back when the site did not have a blue background as the theme, it was a black background then at its earlier days).

Yes I remember pretty clearly the color scheme that used to be there. It looked really bad but I guess it did the trick... probably because of the "old" logo, that had the black background I suppose.

Anyway thnx for your tip. I feel confident enough to try it out in my guides. I was feeling a bit worried that people will mistake the hyperlink with just a regular colored text and will ignore the useful information it can provide by pointing their mouse on it.
