League of Legends (LoL) Question: soul harvest in non SR

Dark Harvest was actually so OP in non SR games that it got massive nerfs in both ARAM and Nexus Blitz. Damage got reduced from +5 per soul to +2.

You can't compare DH with electrocute since the first is a poke rune a bit like Arcane Comet and the second is a rune for trades/all-ins. But even after the nerfs DH is still a version of comet that can't be dodged so I still think it's the best choice on the top tier champs in ARAM, which are 100% poke based (Xerath, Sona etc).

Dark Harvest is actually better in non Summoner's Rift maps than it is in Summoner's Rift due to how much teamfighting goes on and how much faster it is to stack. In Summoner's Rift teamfights don't really happen until mid game and the emphasis on the reset isn't there until then. Due to this, it ends up being more effective than Electrocute in non summoner's rift maps, although circumstances may differ, with multiple Dark Harvests working on one target, killing them, then multiple Dark Harvests on another target. Rinse and repeat. It's also easier to proc than Electrocute for a lot of champions, which is nice.
