Is it possible? Yes. Would it be adviced? No.
zed doesn't have any AP scalings on his abilities, so you're effectively at a disadvantage when building any AP items on him compared to AD items.

"Midlane can be quite tedious to learn and I wouldn't fault you for finding it hard. Thankfully ahri is a lot easier to play since her playstyle is a lot more beginner friendly so to say compared to other champs like syndra. Happy to help and hope you'll do well! 😊"

If an enemy is CC'd or otherwise immobilized and if samira is nearby she'll dash into her attack range to deal said damage and keep them knocked up for a bit.
