Items

I usually start with a Amplifying Tome and a Health Potion
Then i buy Hextech Revolver, or if the enemy team are full of noobs (xD) Mejai's Soulstealer
My next buy is Will of the Ancients for incrased spell vamp and Ionian Boots of Lucidity for cooldown reduction.
Here i have 100 ap and i have 2000 hp so i need Rabadon's Deathcap, Giant's Belt
Rylai's Crystal Scepter and Warmog's Armor to be stronger.
Then if i have a Mejai's Soulstealer i sell my Will of the Anchients and buy a Zhonya's Hourglass, if i don't have then i just buy a Zhonya's.

Farming

If you play Vladimir correctly, then you have 4-6 kills before the teamfights.
But you will be week if you dont farm. So don't harass your opponent every day, (it's important I know, but) focus on last hitting minions with your Transfusion and Tides of Blood and your auto-attacks.
DON'T USE YOUR Sanguine Pool to farm. You'll need it to escape from ganks.

Sanguine Pool

Sanguine Pool allows you to become an untargettable ******* for two seconds, slows enemy units by 40% for 1 second, and also gives you a 10~25% Speed Boost for .5seconds. The spell deals damage based of 15% of your Bonus Health. With this build, you can do around ~~700 damage with your Sanguine Pool, and Spell Vamp around 400 of that back.


When to pool:
You have 183 HP, and you see an Enchanted Crystal Arrow heading straight towards your ***.
When a wild LeBlanc/ Fiddlesticks appear! And they decide to be douchebags and jump over walls...

When NOT to pool:
To farm a minion wave when your opponent is currently in lane.
To harass.
If the spell that you will come in contact with you will do less than 20%. Know your math.

A well timed Sanguine Pool can deflect/dodge the following skills:
