I hate the Sivir skin myself :p I think
Heartseeker Varus
is something that I could get though (unless it's no on sale for a few days for 975 RP)
Thanks to OwenTheAwesomer for the signature =)
Rito, pls desu, cut all ties between champion internals and skins. Either your design is terrible or your execution is terrible. Or maybe it's ****ing both by now.
Pretty sad about Katarina not getting any buffs. Not that I don't think she's strong already, but.. ^^
I love the Warden and Marauder skins (looking at the art), too bad I don't / can't play any of them.
The new game mode sounds funny.
EDIT: On the other hand I guess it's nice that they share all their failures, but it's starting to feel like they're human now.

Hi, my name is Wayne3100 and welcome to the MOBAFire Patch Summary - 5.3!
For those of you who are not a fan of change, I have some good news. Due to a number of changes being postponed by Riot (all of which are going to be implemented as compensation for the removal of DFG, which was a big talking point in the previous patch), this patch is pretty small. That does not mean, however, that we have nothing to talk about, so stay tuned if you're interested in nerfs to Ahri & Azir, a new Featured Game Mode, changes to the Farsight Orb and Greater Stealth Totem and more!

With Ahri's win rate jumping to almost 60% at one point during patch 5.2, Riot have realised that the changes made to her to compensate for the removal of DFG may have left her in a bit of a strong state. To tackle this issue, her Orb of Deception mana cost has now been increased, her Fox-Fire damage and range have gone down and the range on her Spirit Rush damage being applied has gone down too. This should make her more vulnerable when taking a risk at the wrong moments during a fight.
Other notable nerfs include Azir's Conquering Sands damage and stab range of his soldiers both going down (no bugfixes for the Emperor this time around), Fiddlesticks tether range on Bountiful Harvest being slightly reduced, Gnar's Mega form duration being reduced by ~20% and Kassadin losing 10 damage on his Null Sphere at all ranks.
Now if all that leaves you thinking "hang on a minute, isn't it Valentine soon? Shouldn't Riot be showing their champions some love?", then don't worry, because they are (note the +'s in the WTF DID THEY DO TO MY CHAMPION table?). For example, Gragas's Barrel Roll now packs a heavier slow, Kennen's Electrical Surge will hit all enemies caught in Slicing Maelstrom and Varus' ultimate is now a little fatter to increase its reliability (don't worry, even the pros were missing it all the time!).
Item Changes
From now on, the Farsight Orb will place a visible ward with 1 hit point at the target location for 60 seconds in addition to its old functionality. Note that this ward is untargetable so it can't be used to Teleport to. The Greater Stealth Totem will store 2 charges (with one charge being stored every 60 seconds), allowing teams to make use of it more frequently in their battle to control vision around the map.
New Featured Game Mode - Nemesis Draft!
If you're tired of getting rekt by overpowered champions and would like to play a game in which your opponents play something weak for a change, this new featured game mode might be just the thing for you! In Nemesis Draft, you won't be picking your own champions; instead, you'll be picking champions for the enemy team, which you will then be playing against.
There are a few things to note as far as champ select is concerned. First of all, both teams will still have 3 bans, meaning you'll have a chance to get rid of champions you don't want to play. Also, the champions which you can pick for your opponents are based on the group of champion which your team collectively owns. Finally, once all champions have been picked, teammates can still swap champions with each other; they do not have to own a certain champion to play it!
Unfortunately, all of this is info which we had gathered already and Riot does not share any more information in the actual patch notes. However, the mode will be released during this patch, meaning more news should follow soonTM, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
Upcoming Skins
This patch will introduce six new skins to the game. That's right, six. It should come as no surprise that two of those are in celebration of Valentine's Day; the other four have combo splash arts like we've seen before for Pickpocket Twitch and Safecracker Evelynn .
As far as prices are concerned, Heartseeker Varus will cost 1350 RP, while every other skin displayed below will be available for 750 RP upon release.
Share Your Thoughts!
Do I really have to explain what I'll be asking you to do next? I mean, the title of this section kind of ruins the surprise, doesn't it? Yep, it probably does. Anyway, I should not forget to point you in the direction of the full patch notes first. Ok. Good. I remembered.
So, what do you guys think about the changes made in this (small) patch? Will you be picking up any of the new skins and/or try the new game mode once it is released? Feel free to let us know!
