There are plenty of videos on youtube how challenger players hyper carry in low elo on their smurfs. But I couldn't find any video about what they do in games when other lanes are outplayed and a couple of champs from the enemy team are fed as hell.

Also literally the only barrier to getting diamond is time. If you play often enough in ranked, you will improve, and you will climb, and eventually you will get diamond. Most of the KR/CH top challenger players have 500-1k wins in ranked, compared to 100-200 in NA/EUW. That's one reason they're considered such better regions than those, because they play so many more games.
If you're good enough, you can definitely just get challenger in 80 wins or so like Rekkles. But if you're not good enough, that doesn't mean you can't get it. That's really how elo works. If you play more games than anyone else, and you win even 50% of your games, you'll eventually get diamond. Climbing to gold? That's even easier.
If you're losing more than 50% of your games...that pretty much means not only can you not carry yourself, but you can't even be carried by your team.
