This Vlad Guide is very in-depth and I have not found anything i would consider being "bad"(Maybe you should mention the Ionian Boots of Lucidity as an alternatice to Sorcerers Boots, CdR is self-explanatory i think ;D). No, really IMO this should be the new Top-Vlad Guide, because it leaves anything else behind.

Jsut fyi your item build sorc boots, will of ancients, rab dethcap, rylal's, abysal scepter, and zonya's hourglass is also list on another guide. Jsut in slightly different order. Other then taht has good info. Stacking Rab's is a differnt ideal and i may hve to try that. I likes your alt builds. very neat.
I believe persephone is referring to my build since she informed me as well. Actually upon checking this guide/build out yours is, while similar, not the same. The starting items and the order is very different. And order is important. My guide is focused upon beginners and I would never recommend a new vlad of getting
As far as the matter at hand I have no problems and do not think any of this was taken stolen etc etc. So if Crazy Smurf has no problems I have none with the similarity. Similar is not the same... and in a game like this purchase order is important to a build.
Besides... it is another Defense Tree advocate. And we need more of those.
Your typical build is decent; your Cap-stacking build is a bit more limited in being used. However, one thing that is an underlying basis for your build that needs to be emphasized is the fact that your build depends on the familiarity between you and your teammates. If you used this build in normal or ranked solo que, it will not help you or your team as much as other items.
For example, if you and/or your team is doing well, getting a Soulstealer early on will snowball substantially towards the mid to late game. If your team is going toe-to-toe or even struggling against the other side, getting that Rylai's might be a better idea than either Soulstealer, Will, or Cap beacuse the slow from Rylai's will provide a much larger benefit to your team, especially the squishier AD carries, than 30 AP and 20% spell vamp.
Another possible change to your item build that I would suggest is swapping the boots out for a regen pendant, which can either build into Warmog or FoN (but more likely Warmog). I would suggest this because it provides solid and constant early game regen. To be sure, 3 pots and boots are good, too. However, having sustained regen helps keep you in your lane longer than pots, especially against heroes with high burst and/or long range and/or fast MS. For example, the revamped Ryze. But again, it is a suggestion. To each his own (and to be flexible with the situation).
At first, thanks for a plenty long comment, it's appreciated. You know, I have played Vlad with Mejais probably once, but back then I was a weak player, later in-depth of the gameplay I found snowball items useless for me. About me and my teammates... well, Vladimir surely is team-dependant, I can't disagree, but a good Vlad Player can outrank even a 1v3 fight without dying and getting 1-2 kills. When it comes to stacking Rabadon, strangely, the difference in 1 Rabadon and 2 of them is more than big. It's enormous to be certain. About HP Regen, you know, I remember times when I was using Warmogs on Vlad and they weren't much of a success and so I've always started with Boots/Tome. It's just dependant on the player, whether he prefers to be more versatile in fight or just to go aggresive (personally 2nd option with Vladimir). He dominates a lane and so additional Regen isn't my type.

How to add Icons and Images
@Panglot: Are we here to discuss about peing all proffesional? Sure, in Ranked Games and Tournaments you must adapt to your enemy and counter them. But in Normal Games with Friends, who gives a damn whether you stack Rabadons for fun or not.
Edit: Just because you guys want more items in "Purchase Order" I added a typical build allowing you to get on High AP with a little survability and Aura Effects. Hope you like it.
One thing: you should tell them to build only Needlessly Large Rods after the first Rabbadon if they decide to stack them, because you can buy 2 of them as they give 160 AP for 3200 instead of 155 for 3600.
