I have an EUW account, but I play on NA.

Oh, and this is just for Vyn:
You really are a complete ***. Instead of trying to help, everywhere I see you, you're just complaining about how Bronze players are complete ****. You say you used to coach, then ****ing act like a coach. Don't just say "You ****ing suck", point out tips to help them. Maybe I would get better if people actually stopped to help bronze players rather than flame. You were there, you know how hard it is to really start to get a grip of the game and to really start to learn. So why don't you help people past that point, rather than just making them feel like they're so bad they don't even deserve to play league?

xD

The only way anyone is ever going to get out of bronze, is by moving away from the "my team sucks yada yada" mindset. I had this mindset for some time and I was pretty toxic too. Once I changed my mindset and realized that I could only have an effect on my OWN gameplay and not on others, I started improving and went from 900 Elo (~Bronze 4) to 1500 Elo (Gold 5) in just a couple of months. That plus overall playing a lot to get experience is the key to climbing out of bronze, nothing else.

Also, in my own defense, I never said "you suck" or anything along those lines. The only remotely offensive thing I said was one week back in this thread where I said you should stop crying, and I still stand by that as per reasons above. Besides that single one, none of my comments should be offensive or toxic towards any specifc player if you place them in the right context (in the discussion of the other thread: whether a bronze player can learn something from playing vs diamonds directly). If you can't face me stating some facts about bronze Elo in general (where I also never implied that it applied to every single player out there), that's up to you.

If you don't ask me for advice I'll only react to the comments in the thread which is what I've been doing: if you post a thread like this which isn't inviting advice of some kind at all, you also shouldn't expect anyone to come with constructive advice like I normally do.

My elo was around 1200 ish a couple weeks ago, but now it's less than 900. I don't know how that could happen. It doesn't seem like a 300 elo drop would be possible in a week. At one point I was at Silver 1, but never got to play my promos. I took a break from ranked and now I'm in Bronze IV and having EXTREME trouble. I think one of my biggest issues is that, although I notice my own mistakes, some of the mistakes my team makes are so big and so large that they catch my attention and drown me away from my own play. I can't really just ignore it, because it effects the way I need to play, but it distracts me.

1) He 'used' to coach. Ergo, he is not a coach anymore. Ergo, he does not have to act like a coach anymore. And even if he was still a coach, he's not YOUR coach, so he's not obliged to treat you in any particular way whatsoever in regards to that.

2) You never asked for help. All this thread is intended to do is to vent rage at lost games. As far as I can tell, you've not constructively asked for help. What, you expect people to just hand you Diamond tips on a platter? The majority of your posts are just basically QQs about why you can't carry or why your teams suck or something similar.

If you want help, it really goes a long way if you ask properly rather than just having a tantrum like a baby hoping that someone will hand you a Challenger dummy to stifle your cries.

As for general things about how to ask people for help -

Having gameplay footage of yourself can really help. A lot of people can just look over your games for you and point out immediate glaring errors.

In lieu of that, end-game screenshots or sharing match histories can lend a lot of relevant information for criticism.

Guides. Video guides, written MOBAFire guides (risky though), probuilds.net, streams, etc - there are a lot of resources for getting better out there. Sometimes you don't need to ask what you are doing wrong and/or can do better. A little bit of research can go a long way.

You can start blaming losses on your team when you play flawlessly. :^)

Out of my 3k+ ranked games, aside from the games that are 4v5 and absolutely unwinnable, theres probably less than 40 where I absolutely did everything in my power and could not win. Not dying doesn't mean you played flawlessly. Neither does going legendary. There is almost always something you can take from every game, and that is what matters. Blaming your team doesn't get you better at the game, nor does it get back your MMR/LP, so why do it?

Adding onto what H4xDefender said, keep in mind the way MMR works is that if you have bad teammates, you'll invariably have bad enemies too. One of the things that separates average players from good players is that skilled players know how to capitalize on the weaknesses of their opponents.

You shouldn't be ashamed at being in bronze or silver. Part of the ranked experience is learning how to succeed consistently enough to win more than 50% of your games, even when your teammates play worse than your enemies. Don't focus too much on the outcome of the game or what effect it has on your rank. Treat every game as a learning experience and try to be a really strong and positive force every game.

Also, unless you're extremely good there will be a bunch of games where you play pretty well and your teammates play terrible and you lose. These games are just anomalies if you really know how to play well consistently. If you play well every game, you will win all the games you get decent teammates and a few of the ones where you get bad ones. You only have to maintain a win rate of over 50% to climb, which means you're going to have to get used to losing and using those experiences to make sure you play future games even better.
Thanks to Jovy for the sig!

I got out of bronze in 2 days .__.
The only thing stopping me from getting out of silver is time (I lost the train, most likely).

Bad teammates is not a good enough reason to complain. I once had a Tryndamere on my team who went 0/8/0 and we carried the **** out of him, because we communicated and agreed to use the poor guy as bait (he was only good for that :P ). One common thing I see is that when things start going wrong, people start to point fingers, when they should instead shut up, think of a plan together and do their very best not to lose.

Another example (this one was a normal), I once played against a Hecarim who was completely dominating the match. He was so fed (the only one on his team) that he'd be able to carry his team to victory if he wanted to. Things seemed grim for our side, but after a lot of discussion in the chat, we agreed that we had to do something, so we hoarded up, whacked the hell out of Hecarim when he was alone in the jungle and won the game. We all ended up with neutral/negative KDA's (he was that fed), but with teamwork we were able to win.

You want tips for winning more games? Be nice to people, give them a compliment when they do something good to increase morale and don't flame: it is pointless and you're wasting time doing it, when you could've been using that time to carry your team. Not everyone can carry and you certainly will lose a game or two on your way, but the important thing is to improve both your skill and attitude towards the game.

Having said this, I wish you the best of luck climbing the ladder :P
