Teleport mid laners

I was afraid of going back since I would lose so much farm and health on my turret so I stayed in lane way to long and by ten minutes in I was around 50 cs back to her. In the end she had farmed herself way above me and had a much higher impact on the game than myself. Is this a viable strategy for champs who can waveclear efficiently or did I just fuck up in some way? Jungler was busy on other lanes by the way since they were struggeling a bit.[/quote]

The difference between winning and losing a lot of the time is how much you're willing to give up to gain a lead. Also, you're probably just a bad laner if you got beat by Lux in-lane. Especially with teleport, because it's not a lane pressuring summoner. It's used to get top lane off the island and join team fights. I love when I lock-in against someone in my lane with teleport that shouldn't have it. I know that it's gonna be an easy lane, because they can't pressure me with something like Ignite, or fake me out with Heal.[/quote]

It happens, if you don't want the CS to go to waste you can ping your jungler to see if they want to take it, not much else you can do aside from that. Regardless of her mana you should still be getting a good amount of CS as [[Ezreal]], and to me it sounds like you need to practice with it. This video helped me alot.
