I started maining rengar and i like the champ and want to learn to play him but i have had terrible success with him. I lose most of my matches with terrible stats. My build order usually is warrior, ravenous, yomuus, infinity edge and a defensive item depending on the situation. For boots i usually use tabis or threads, sometimes boot of lucidity.

I mean , is there some key points with rengar i have to take notice? Like when to gank and what to do in teamfights? Or is my build faulty? Ive read some guides but they usually go like "Get these and kill enemies and win", and not really helpful.

I looked at your match history.

1. You don't need IE on Rengar.
2. You're not building defensively when you need to.
3. Stop rushing Youmuu's first on jungle Rengar. If you grab mobis and build hydra that's much more effective.
4. If you're jungling don't get mercs treads. It's too expensive for junglers.
5. Your runes are not effective. You need to get flat AD marks and quints for jungle rengar. That 1.5% lifesteal isn't going to help you. Also, the armor pen is useless for jungling early because rengar has high ratios and the jungle creeps don't have that much armor.
6. Stop getting Stalkers blade and keep getting Ranger's trailblazer. Your jungling is pathetically slow if you don't.
7. Spirit Visage > Banshee's Veil on rengar.
8. Don't rush thornmail without any health to back it up.

No offense but can you land your combo right? I mean for some people pressing those buttons in less than a sec can cause some difficulties until not practiced enough.

Also what I would strongly suggest is don't be afraid of offensive warding. You are not a farming or a tank jungler, you are an assassin who should be aware of any free kills.

But whatever you do just don't give up. If you want to main Rengar then practice and practice and practice.

Build issues and your personal mechanical ability aside, most likely your macro game and/or decison-making is the cause of your problems, as with most people. Sharing a replay will help other players identify this. In the meantime, I would suggest you start watching videos or streams of good coaches that have good idea on thought-process while in the game.

My personal suggestions would be:

Lastshadow - Does a lot of coaching videos and also talks a lot about the game in general. Some people like his style, some people don't, but he has a lot of knowledge about the game.
MonteCristo - content usually more focused at the competitive scene, but I think his insight will be useful nonetheless on getting the right thought process of where to be, what to do while in-game.
Trick2G Channel 1/Channel 2- Not everyone likes him either, but he's a successful enough jungler with the feel of the game.

Start getting Last Whisper every game (not IE). You'll be wanting armor pen to maximize your burst once you have a couple AD items. Even if the enemy team doesn't build much armor it's still good.

Stalker's Blade is viable but I'd stick with Ranger's Trailblazer until you're more comfortable on the champion. You might just stick with Ranger's indefinitely if it helps you more than Stalker's.

Make sure you are farming efficiently between ganks and generally don't gank a ton before 6. Use your ultimate to pull off post-6 ganks. If the gank fails, think about why it failed and what you can do to make sure your ult ganks succeed in the future.

Avoid team fights and go for picks when possible. Put wards down as deep into the enemy jungle as you can (safely) and get Sweeping Lens at around level 9 or earlier to deny vision. Look for people who are vulnerable when they're farming, warding or rotating on their own. You can also use ult to turn the tide of 1v1 fights by showing up unexpectedly, so watch for enemies who play aggressive.

When you do team fight, don't just jump in right away. Stealth and get onto the enemy backline and try to blow up one of their carries once their frontline commits to fighting your team.

Hard to say more without seeing your actual gameplay.
Thanks to Jovy for the sig!

I disagree with this suggestion. Jungle creeps don't have a lot of armor, but they do have some. The damage you deal to jungle creeps early on ends up being about the same whether you use AD marks or armor pen marks, and the armor pen marks end up being much stronger in the long run.

Everyone knows flat AD > armor pen for early game and your runes are supposed to help you jungle faster early game.
