Although I don't actually play Riven, I find this guide pretty cool, because it talks about all the Riven counter (which helps me counter her when I need to)

I think this guide is good, I like how it describes some of the counters for threats(Though I would like to see more). For the synergies I would have liked to see some explanations and reasons why. I also would prefer there not to be so much fan art because I hade to do a lot of scrolling to find specific bits of information. Other than that this was really good.

Well firstly I won best guide for a champion in the top lane for S6 and S8 on MobaFire amidst fierce competition, I achieved high diamond playing mostly Riven in under 100 games with a 70% WR and finally I make sure to continue to improve whilst ensuring this guide stays just as updated as I am!

Actually I wanted to seriously ask you about Seraph's Embrace on Riven, I know it sounds crazy but hear me out, okay?

So you rush Tear of the Goddess to start stacking it up ASAP, which I know sucks since it doesn't do anything for you, but with all her mobility Riven should be able to pull it off and survive, since she's a pretty safe champion.

You continue building normal items, and then when you see Tear's nearly stacked you upgrade it to Seraph's Embrace. So you might ask "wtf Vapora, Riven doesn't have AP ratios, why would you do that". The AP isn't the point though, it's the SHIELD. The shield scales on mana which you unfortunately don't have but, it also has 150 base shield. Now imagine how easily you can catch enemies off-guard with this shield. They just won't expect it. When have you ever seen a Riven with Seraph's Embrace? It's the cheese factor, very similar to red pot start in season 3 except you can do it all game long and it's free (once you have Seraph's Embrace).

And in fact, you're wrong in saying Riven has no AP ratios. She actually has a 10% AP ratio on Thunderlord's Decree , so that 80 AP actually goes to good use as it'll increase your Thunderlord proc's damage by 8. It doesn't sound like much, I know, but when you add 8 damage to each of your procs and count them up, that alone is already more damage than you deal in your average Riven game when we duo queue.

Late-game you would sell Seraph's Embrace for a less cheesy, more consistent item.

So what do you think, pretty cool right? :p This isn't the first time I'm ahead of my time by the way, I was also the one that innovated Tiamat rush and using old Youmuu's Ghostblade on Talon, as well as picks such as mid lane Ezreal and top lane Lucian, both of which have found success in competitive play. So it's not too uncommon for me to have these strokes of genius, hah.
