why do you get Chilling Smite over Challenging Smite? Nidalee has no issues gapclosing targets, and if you have that issue you are most likely playing her wrong. Nidalee is in all ways a skirmisher, its all in her kit. You use the challenging smite for an increased true damage burn and also for the damage reduction. Just auto attacking with a challenging smite might be enough to give you kills at attempted ganks, Never get Sorcerers Shoes. Nidalees cougar form cooldowns have been nerfed to a static 6 second cooldown, and her cougar form abilities NEEDS early cooldown reduction in form of boots to keep up her efficiency

Before, I used to take chilling smite to get that escape in a 2v1 but I realise it is quite a rare place. I kinda agree with you now in this meta it is much better to play the chilling smite, I'll update it. And for the sorcerers I have just put them as optionnal, so you do as you want. (If you need heavy AP because your team are full AD or something like that.)I will update it soon. Thanks for your advices.

This build is completly not good.
If you dont end the game under 25 Minutes you failed. Well, you cant go full ap. You need Tank items like Spirit Visage for the late game.

Yes of course you should finish the game with that build before 25minutes with Nidalee, but I disagree with you on the tanky point. It will get you even more useless in late than you actually are, just resisting a bit more in teamfights. If you have a good team, you shouldn't need tankiness and should continue to carry your team using AP.

This guide is flawed in every way possible. To start off:
With your rune page you would have: 25.89 flat AP, 4.89 Flat Magic-pen and 7.79 Scaling AP.
By reformating the rune page, you can get higher value numbers, with: 27.69 flat ability power, 5.7 magic penetration and 7.79 scaling ap. You simply go 6 magic penetration marks because they have higher magic penetration than glyphs do, and you get 9 ability power glyphs because they give more ability power than ability power marks would.
The one scaling AP quintessence does not hit the benefit of that a flat AP quintessence would do before level 11, and by then that AP will be redundant. Why not just get a flat AP quintessence instead?
Your rune page does absolutely nothing to help your early game, because the added AP will have no impact on the numbers given to clear your camps early game. Now, having no armor on the other hand, is a negatively contributing factor to your early clears and will make you subject to low health all the way through levels 1-7. Making jungling highly inefficient and also giving you next to no gank pressure due to low health values.
My recommendations would be: Flat AD marks, Scaling AP glyphs, Flat armor seals and flat AP quints. This way your auto attack threading plus the attack speed gained from E will give you a lot extra added damage in the jungle, and you will clear better. Scaling AP glyphs will start having an impact at level 6, giving you an additional damage boost in addition to getting your jungle item.

Next off why would you get bounty hunter over double-edged sword? Double-edged helps you deal more damage to ALL units, including jungle camps, minions and champions, being far better than bounty hunter from the early game. Getting magic penetration in your mastery weighs up for not getting it in your runes, and the 45% CDR cap is just entirely wasted on Nidalee. There is absolutely no point in getting it.

And you should point out that you always should get a Dark Seal and Hunters Potion on first back, not only because Dark Seal is a great snowballing item that gives you good starting AP for ganks, but you also get increased efficency from your Hunters Potion, so it pays for itself even if you dont snowball with it.
And really, why do you get Chilling Smite over Challenging Smite? Nidalee has no issues gapclosing targets, and if you have that issue you are most likely playing her wrong. Nidalee is in all ways a skirmisher, its all in her kit. You use the challenging smite for an increased true damage burn and also for the damage reduction. Just auto attacking with a challenging smite might be enough to give you kills at attempted ganks.
Never get Sorcerers Shoes. Nidalees cougar form cooldowns have been nerfed to a static 6 second cooldown, and her cougar form abilities NEEDS early cooldown reduction in form of boots to keep up her efficiency. The added magic penetration from Sorcerers Shoes does no difference in the early to mid game, and if you need to kill a tank you obviously get Void Staff/Haunting Guise. The rest of your build seems ok, Lich Bane is a must get item, but Abyssal is most definitely not. I would rate Zhonya higher, because it gives you a better dive approach and the ability to make picks, plays and even initiate!

Oh, and one thing. Always start W. It gives you such a good clear speed, averaging 6 camps in 3:07 if you start blue buff, and 5 camps if you start red buff in 2:55. If you start red buff go W into E as you clear raptors a lot faster and can heal straight off the bat, keeping you at a high health value. If you start blue buff go W into Q as the single target damage is great on gromp and you can maneuver between the camps pretty easily.

This build requires a lot more work before it can be anywhere close to good. Good effort though.

You were quite savage in your first sentence lel Tear of the Goddess Anyway, you're right in many points, especially runes and items. I never actually had a look that close to the bonuses tbh, thanks for that. Although, i really think chilling smite is far more useful for Nidalee as the slow and the dammage fits perfectly with her combos ( Pouncecan't be flashed away as easily, etc.)Thanks a lot for your advices tho, i changed my runes, boots and item priorities in my gameplay too. Cheers

First off I apologize for the "savagery" of the first sentence. I am a nidalee main though, so being savage is part of my job. I can see what you mean about chilling smite, as it might be a nice way to catch up to enemies who flash away from you, but in all honesty I think gapclosing with Nidalee is no problem whatsoever. Challenging smite offers more damage, better duelling and I think between 2-4k true damage if used correctly and consistently enough.

Hey :) I like the pictures of using Nidalee's Q to hasten her jungling. I didn't realise you could jump those walls with that technique. Thanks for sharing! +1

No problem, glad to give tips. It can also work for red and blue but it's more rare in the game so I didn't put them.
