We tried and invade which got some Flashes but no kills. Their jungler was savvy enough to swipe my blue and Gromp which set me hella behind and made it hard to contest a gank in Top lane being only level 2 at the time. Irelai like why u scuired? I am level 2. Fortunately Blitzcrank and Varus proved dominant and my duo partner in Mid as Veigar also helped by insta-gibbing some of their carries at key points.

Evelynn and I managed to kill Riven after Eve did Red, but Riven was able to come back and freeze the lane and I couldn't figure out a way to push it in fast enough to reset it. I asked for some help from our jungler who I was duoing with but either they didn't understand what I wanted or they were too busy or they were dead so I ended up way behind in farm despite the early assist.

Mid was struggling with around 300ping and just couldn't react well enough to dodge Twisted Fate in conjunction with Elise. On Top of pressuring Mid, TF was able to pressure Bot lane and our Darius started Boots with no potions because only pansies need potions, so you can guess how that worked out for us.

Our Shen did well this game. I was there for a counter gank but got chunked out hard and had to back. Shen turned their tower dive into a double kill. Brand and I teamed up to kill Vladimir a couple of times, and Bot lane did well early so we were able to recover from some mistakes in the Mid game to finish them off.

One of those games where I get to watch a Graves run to each lane in sequence and try a gank and my laners end up losing at least some heatlh despite the fact that he runs over wards every time. Like he isn't fast XD Not like a Hecarim or something. This shouldn't be a suprise. Anwyay, fortunately he didn't get much more than some health off my laners. Blitzcrank and Caitlyn were arguing the whole game so I muted them. Kayle scaled up and started wrecking them. Between that and some good Blitzcranks hooks we put this on in in the bag.

Bot lane did well mostly on their own. That sort of let me focus on the other lanes which were struggling a bit. The team did a decent job rotating to help Bot lane out when they were getting dove by superior numbers, so our coordination on average was a little better than theirs.

On average simply feel like I'm getting the luck of the draw and getting better teams than when I was sliding out of Gold 4, so hopefully the trend of good team mates continues.

Sion got his arsed kicked by Darius. I ganked for him early but we didn't managed to kill Darius. Had several of those they just barely got away incidents in this game. With Darius mowing down the towers in Top lane I soon had to contend with a 2nd person invading my jungle. Ahri was kill trading with Zed, though Zed was coming out ahead more often. Bot lane was also struggling, though I managed to relieve a little pressure up there. We got Rift Herald but traded it for a turret. We were only able to use Rift Herald to take out one turret. Late game we had a catch on one of their champions but I failed to take into account that Varus was off by himself in a lane getting solo killed by Zed and Ahri was still in base so that was definitely my bad for taking that engage. Though why those two champions were where they were is a little beyond me, but that is something I always need to take into account. Check to see if all your teammates are with you/near enough to follow up.

I did a coaching session with Bot Only a Diamond 1/sometime Master ranked NA player. Under his guidance I ended up very far ahead in farm and XP compared to the enemy jungler. Part of that comes from clearing lanes after ganks to help my laners get out of lane sooner so they can back and heal up. More priority on farming. (I think I farm a lot, but I don't especially in the Mid game when teams seem to want to ARAM). We didn't win the game, but that was mainly because our Teemo and Ahri were touched. We had a situation where Teemo was split pushing their Bot lane while they were siegeing our Mid inhibitor turret and he could have threatened a tower but he instead Teleported into Top lane away from the tower he was threatening, which meant they could turn back on us as 5 instead of 4 so we ended up losing the fight. And Ahri decided to dive into their team several times when we were obviously behind as a form of engage... uhm, if you can get a pick fine, but you should probably let me engage if anyone is going to do it.

Lots of material:
If the enemy jungler ganks at level 2 be sure to punish them hard for it by counter jungling the opposite side of their jungle. Drop a ward around Mid lane just to the other side of the wolves so you can see if the enemy jungler does decided to come to that side of the jungle after backing. You can also check their CS count and see what buffs they had on them (e.g. 8 + only Red Buff would mean that they did raptors, Red, scuttle), which would leave their Krugs up which they are likely to do after ganking.

If you are behind you tend to need to simply wave clear and let the enemy team engage while making sure that your squishies have peel.

Before taking fights you need to ask yourself is anyone on your team close enough to follow-up on what you are doing? Are they too far away or are they occupied with something else? In that case you can move into position to help them to make sure you don't get separated and kited out or killed, only turning when your team is ready to follow-up.

Also before fighting, think about how long it has been since your team backed. Assume that if ultimates are down then they have not had time to back. Don't start fights in those scenarios. Just wave clear or hold lanes while your teammates have a chance to back. Also make sure you have equal or greater numbers when starting a fight.

If you have a revive passive or your flash is down then you need to play much less aggressively. If you do engage think about where that puts you? Can you get out if you go here? What about if you go on the juiciest target? The later might be a bit too far. Think about position and don't get overly ambitious on ganks.

Farm in the Mid game. (an area that I need work on). Don't let your camps stay up. Clear one side of the jungle then look to gank, unless a really obvious opportunity presents itself (Mid lane trading heavily? Head straight to your Red for the additional gank advantage then hover Mid lane to see if you can make a play).

Get your sweeping lens at level 9. It is the job of other teammates to ward at that point in the game. Work on denying vision. Buy pink wards. Sell your potions if necessary.

Steal the enemy Raptors as off as you can. Conversely, don't leave your Raptors up for the enemy jungler or their Mid laner to steal.

Farm like crazy. Gank in-between. Gangplank got fed early and their jungler forgot to bring Smite so I believe this one was non-recoverable. Had a couple of wonky ults that didn't really work. Feel like some angles it looks like you are under your target but you actually aren't.

Eh, struggling to make Nocturne work in ranked games. I pretty much got carried in this one. Couldn't actually managed to kill anyone by myself. Managed to get an assist at pre-level 6. to much power tied up into the ulitmate, and his CC is too fair. If they don't have a dash or untargetable ability or Flash then you might stick to someone but maybe not if they have help to peel you off. Their Heimerdinger either ragequit or DCd after his 2nd death, which made this one much easier than it could have been otherwise. Ezreal tore it up for sure.
