Tanks: Built to soak up damage/punish those who get too close & can disable the enemy.
Taric has tanky attributes, but each of his skills has a Support factor to it. Also, saying he has high AD/AS doesn't relate to being a tank at all.
I'd say, based on that, he's a Tanky Support; support being the more solid label.

Yep.
CC? That can be tanky but that is a support part of a tank (e.g. Shen taunt. Supports his teams while tanking).
Heal - Definately support
Aura - Definately support
Another aura - Definately support.
He may get higher HP than most supports (depending on the way you look at it) but he's definitely a support. I used to think "he dies slow and has a lot of HP so he's a tank!" but I don't think there's any part of him that makes him too much of a tank. Tanks are usually supposed to try to draw fire and AoE stuff like Malphite (in general he's pretty damn tanky, right?) with his ult + E is meant to get up in their faces and draws fire. etc. I'd be constructing more proper sentences but I'm way too tired for that.







Good points on taric...Hes still gay though...I did note earlier that i can pull off Karma sometimes. Shes really only decent against squishies though. If she gets targeted by a DPS or a tank, shes finished. She doenst have any hard CC to contend with sustained DPS.

In dual lane, you can tether an ally, and wreak serious slow+damage on enemies. Each pass through causes more damage, and since you both have a movement speed buff, it's pretty easy to manipulate the tether to slice into the enemy 2~3 times with practice.
It's a very new mechanic with lots of potential, but it demands allies who know how to maximize it.

Yah, well if can find one that can do that you let me know. We can have do all sorts of mind reading tricks while hes at it. My bro and i play through vent and its still really hard to pull off and weve been playing coop for years.

Have the rush past your target to slow, then you angle to the side for a second strike, or forward to net other targets.
It's all about positioning with Karma.
Of course, this gets 3~5x more complicated when team fights happen, but the same principles apply.
Also, playing cooperatively doesn't mean you can master any and ever mechanic.
Please don't consider yourself experienced enough with Karma (or any champion) to make that kind of judgment, she's been barely out a few monthes and there are plenty of issues regarding her viability in general relative to current meta games and mass-preferences.

I defnintely agree with you. But when i play im concerned with different mechanics. I do tether my tanks or even a mobile enemy but most of my focus is on AOE heal while still damaging the enemy (yes all about positioning) and getting those clutch shields off. Good Thoughts though.
