Hey PhoenixianSlayer!
Cool guide, didn't know people really played Ezreal support aswell... Seen a few Ez supps in normal games, but that's it. As a big Ezreal main, I really appreciate the guide! I'll look forward to playing him supp someday! Nice guide!

Admittedly, this is rare and niche. His lack of cc in his base kit makes him the last champ someone would use as a support. However, Iceborn Gauntlet basically gives him a Karma Q, so that gave me the idea for this. I currently only use him this way in normal games (still need some more confidence with ranked in general before going into ranked with this). However, the damage that Ezreal provides early can definitely help win lane by forcing opponents out. This support pick is purely aggressive and provides no early defense. Its rare but its fun and can start some snowballs (if you're not camped by the enemy jg.

Yeah, you're completely right! Especially about that Iceborn Gaunlet. If people can play Ezreal jungle on the World Championship, he can definitely be played support in normals games dude! I've always seen normal to just have fun, if you want to go and play your best champions, just go tryhard in ranked, that's what it's made for, normal is to learn new things and have fun. Anyway I'll try it any day soon when I'll have to support! :-) thanks for the guide!

Quick question:
What do people think they like better for the dividers, the shooting star image or the colored dividers?

Thanks to everyone who has been reading my guides by the way!

I really like your guide you have here PhoenixianSlayer,

As i have probably mentioned before in some of your other guides, (i am not sure i think so), with the use of some BBCodes this guide will become very amazing. OwO

Hey PhoenixianSlayer,
I like the idea of an Ezreal Support, mostly because I have to face ADC that don't know how to carry or face certain match ups. So the possibility of not having the whole team to cut down on an ADC sounds awesome. But I kinda worry about the lack of utility by chosing him as Support. Do you have any idea that could make me feel more comfortable towards me playing Ez as Support?

In early game, his utility is purely damage/pressure. Its not that major since he is weak early, but it spikes a bit once you get Sheen and people start to watch you. Iceborn Gauntlet adds the utility on Ezreal. It's a long range AOE slow when used on Ezreal and by the time you get it, you can really slow. The focus of this build is to keep using that Iceborn Gauntlet to slow champs while your adc can finish them (preferably Caitlyn or Jhin). This lasts until you get your Manamune/ Muramana and start being able to kill opponents yourself. If you are not crazy about this method or would prefer something closer to a support that can still go crazy on people, I would suggest my Kennen Support guide. Ezreal Support is something that has worked well for me, but its difficult to really make effective and kind of falls short in the face of an enemy healer support. However, considering that most people I have seen use aggressive supports, its not going to be a problem.

Hey, thanks for the detailed reply!
I suppose I'll just have try it out to either accept my worries about Ezreal Support or get rid of them. :)
I don't think that an aggressive playstyle should be a problem either, because that's mainly what your aiming at with that kind of pick. :)

Could use a bit about how you play in lane (trading etc).

Same question about running Heal as for the Kennen guide applies as well.

Flash is kinda redundant on Ezreal. His E is a flash already. In addition, the Flash lets him escape one situation. Heal's effects give more laning sustain and also a speed boost to help your ADC get out of situations. Even if the Heal does not have its full effect, it is still helpful. It has lots of utility and makes the laning phase more secure without being redundant and thereby unused (E is 19-13 sec cooldown). There are very few situations where someone would need multiple flashes in the time for Ez's E to cooldown that could not be fixed with Heal.

Ezreal is an immobile ADC (despite you playing him support) save for his E. Once he uses that, he has no other way of escaping an engage / skillshot until it's off CD. You take Flash for the extra safety and mobility in teamfights since Ezreal is very squishy and only has one escape spell.

Solid explanation, I would still then pick Exhaust over since it does the same in terms of speed up (slowing them down is roughly as good as speeding yourself up) and also offers damage reduction (helpful vs burts, which heal does not do).

But, solid reasoning, you might want to put that in the guide ;)
