Dr. Mundo. Didn't really feel like I was getting out paced by the Vi, just lane difference.And thus ends the 2019 ranked run at 39 LP Silver 1. If I had won I would have tried to continue on, but too many games out for a person that has to work in the morning.
Thinking about this game, I pretty much had to babysit every lane outside of maybe
Garen, but I've seen Garen's get **** on by Darius lanes up until a certain point where it seems to turn around for the Garen if they aren't too far behind. So this should have been a dodge. But unfortunately that wasn't a possibility given my time constraints due to the close of the season and the fact that it was already late.

Ezreal game. Amumu informed us at the beginning of the game. "There will come a time when you start taking my camps. I'm warning you now you can have whichever camps, except Raptors, those are mine." Yes, sir!My duo, the
Nautilus played the lane well and then roamed after getting me into a very solid spot so I could do Ezreal things off in a side lane. Died once to Kha'Zix through Iceborn Gauntlet. That bug flipping hurts. Other than that pretty clean game, netting myself two triple kills. Went Iceborn Gauntlet because of the Kha'Zix. Damage didn't really feel good until I finished Death's Dance.
Really haven't played that much this season. Did my 10 matches to get ranked so I could play Clash.
Being duoing a bit in Bot lane of late with a support on comms, which is pretty nice.
Last game I didn't duo and I had a
Sona int three kills trying to contest the same damn ward.This game my
Neeko set me up nicely with some good stuns so that we had complete lane control which gave me a nice item advantage over the Tristana. One death where I miss clicked and ended up in the middle of a scrum that I didn't not want to be in.Other than that I pretty much traded my life for 2-3 of theirs so I'll take those. Team wanted to surrender due to the
Yone getting quite fed off of the Tryndamere, but someone correctly pointed out, protect Sivir and we are good.Not that they actually peeled for me, but that at least gave the dissenting team members a reason to keep on fighting.
Fun game where you can sort of dictate the catches with your ultimate. I do think
Sivir takes about three items to come online so she isn't something that is going to be dominant every game, but when you are winning and can force engages with your ultimate she works out.Oh, and she used to excel at stalling due to her wave clear, but losing Elder Drake diminishes that aspect to some degree.
Veigar + Sona power duo? XDWe needed some AP and since I had a
Sona I didn't want to go Swain, so Veigar it was. Almost died to Yone, but the last tick of his Ignite did not finish me off and Fiora tried to murder me right before they surrendered but I had Flash up so I got out of that. Guess that lane would have been much harder against better opponents but as it was I most sat back and farmed while Sona poked.
Let's see, lost my first promo game as
Senna. Only Bot lane, Swain and myself, were in positivity territory. Turned out to be too heavy of a lift.2nd promo game no on on my team was in positive territory and our
Malphite DCd or started lagging really badly during a chunk of the game.This game was not looking pretty with a disgustingly fed
Akali and our Lux DCing during the Mid game. It took Akali two abilities to kill me even through Phantom Dancer, but we managed to somehow end up getting dragon soul and then Senna stepped too far forward when they were barreling down Mid at us and I shot her in the face with my ultimate and my team dog piled the Akali which lined them all up for a Lux ult and down went Akali, leaving only Gnar and Lucian to defend. I told my team to end the game and we did.Kind of wondering where
Ashe fits and Executioner's Calling or Mortal Reminder into her build. I guess I drop Guardian Angel?
Decided to do my 10 promo games. Iron 1 after G1, Bronze IV after G2. Queue times are weird. They tend toward shortish, but aren't popping in the time limit so I'm having to requeue a lot.
So far my two ranked games have felt a little more coherent than my normal games, which basically usually amount to whoever knows their champions better gets an insurmountable lead no matter what anyone else on the map manages to do. It has felt a little more even in my small sample size of ranked games.
I plan to mostly play Dr. Mundo because I like him and as an A tier jungler he shouldn't be banned much. I'll go with Hecarim or Udyr if Mundo is banned. I'm banning Samira because screw that champion. She is worse than Master Yi since she doesn't even have to be fed to kill your whole team.
G1 team diff meaning everyone was competent outside of the Tryndamere being blind as a bat at times.

G2 my bot lane got really irritated with each other. I couldn't really suss out who was the problem as they both were both alternatively inting and making plays. Lateish game my team was taking bad fights with no objectives to get as a reward. Super awkward when you would like to clear your jungle, back, and get setup for the next objective.
Caitlyn was a pain in my arse, think you've got her? Nope pops Galeforce, nets, drops eighteen traps and is gone. Or if you step on one of the traps she would just melt me despite having more farm and gear than anyone else in the game for the bulk of it. Always feels ****py to buy tank items and not feel tanky. I guess the current itemization simply favors damage over tank gear, or perhaps it is just a Caitlyn thing. My guess is one reason that Hecarim is so good now is he can still to carries who can do annoying **** like that and he can get to skirmishes very quickly to turn the tide which seems to be the name of the game, so far. Anyway, my team got it together enough times that we came out ahead in the end.
G3 Team diff again. Bot was doing nasty things to their lane opponents.
Ahri was doing nasty things to Shyvana and Akali. And the team was rotating to river fights so we got most of the drags and the rift scuttlers. My one death was being a little too focused on killing a relatively low health Karma and she managed to shield hereself, which gave her a bigger HP pool than I had at the time, though to be fair I thought I had an Ashe following behind me, but she either died or backed and I should have noticed that.And that is enough games for this session. Possibly more tomorrow.
