I'm pretty sure I'm missing a bit of match history in hear. I went to 81 LP then dropped back down to zero. Back up to 60ish LP for the moment.

Doing well on Dr. Mundo. Definitely works best into heavy AP comps. Went for the Cho'Gath in a game were I believe Dr. Mundo was banned and we had a Yasuo, so I went for a tank with a knock-up.

Jax game, the Vayne got ridiculously fed pretty early and our Ekko kept going aggro without respect to the enemy jungler's position. I made a mistake at one point running to try to help him. I should have finished my farm route and ganked Top like I intended and then ganked Nasus since Ekko ended up running toward Bot lane. A) Know where the enemy jungler is before going aggro and B) run toward the side of the map your jungler is on if **** goes South.

Jarvan IV game, Kled got a massive lead on the Akali who was apparently high AF. Okay, don't play in my game then. I acutally should have dodge because of that and the Talon pick. I very very seldom have a team play well into Talon. This game was no exception as he **** on everyone on our team.

Good Jax game.

Took us a while to get everyone on the same page. Malphite was so absorbed in his power that he kept single target ulting people and then dying afterwards. Once we got that straightened out the game went better.

I love seeing the new posts you make, literally to me, I think you're insane for being able to put up with continuesly putting in every match you play along with pretty detailed descriptions, props to you man! Loving the journey so far, hope you make it to gold. :)

If I were to do this, I'd probably cry myself to sleep by now since I tend to forget stuff at times lol.
Thanks to Jovy for the sig!

Pretty sure that Shen was trolling. He went for a solo invade at lvl 1 before the lane spawned and got deleted by Vayne and Braum. He came back to lane, immediately went in and died again. I don't know about you, but having a two kill Vayne before 5 minutes into the game is not the way I like a game to start.

Everything about our game play felt de-synced. Vladimir was pressuring hard, but didn't respect a gank I warned him about so he died for his hubris.

I gave Riven a kill onto the Malphite, but he just built AP and **** on her. Given that you should be able to shield the Q damage, I don't really know how you lose that match-up.

With everyone making mistakes across the map and a fed Vayne just getting bigger over the course of the game this one felt like a go next.

And when people started complaining in chat despite me asking them to stop typing it really felt go next.

This is the kind of comp I think I might just dodge. Deosn't really matter if a Yasuo is **** if they have enough setup.

In this case, my Veigar let the Yasuo roam long enough that three of them were able to take Bot turret, just so he could try to mess with Ekko at his Krugs. Like WTF. A) why would you let several waves of farm die and B) if your laner is out of lane you should probably be taking their turret, but that is apparently not how he saw it.

Nocturne got counterpicked. He did make some plays out of lane, but we still ended up having a big boy Malphite to deal with.

It can be a fine situational pick, but I think it is better Mid so it can roam more easily. He had a pretty good win rate on it though, so I decided to let it go through.

I really need to start dodging when people on my team pick Riven. Two in a row that can't manage their own lane. Anivia who was kicking Twisted Fates *** was forced to trade with Riven. Which hey if it works out, but it didn't help the Riven at all.

And Mordekaiser. Holy ****. Couldn't scratch the dude by myself.

I asked for a hawkshot from Ashe to check Dragon and see if Kha'Zix was there or lurking and she didn't seem to understand what I wanted.

A really frustrating game to play.

Thanks for the encouragement :)

I need to get back to doing proper reviews like I was doing a bit ago, but they take longer because I need to go back and look over the early game, because I also forget so much. I don't understand how people have really good memories for what happened in game.

Half the time I want to do entries like "Spent most of game running for my life from the Garen + Yuumi". Or "Oh, SA Kayn can kill me with one Blade's Reach from 3/4 health as Kayle, so no I won't have time to ult if he comes through the wall, even if I have Seeker's Armguard and Ninja Tabi. Good to know."

It is a zoo out there on the Rift. XD

I hope to make Gold again too, but it is going to be tight as I have to travel for work several days this month, so it may not happen.

The variance in games feels so high. I'll get 5 teams that just crush it. Then five teams that couldn't find their rear end if someone told them where it was. So making progress feels hard.

Hecarim game. Needed to not have my Mid be 2-12 and needed my support not to be 0-7.

Cho'Gath had some smart plays and some not so smart plays one of which was trying to rescue the Tristana, watching her die, and still walking into three of their team.

I asked my Bot laner duo what was up with Bot and he said Morgana kept missing her bind and then still walking into them. Support is such a **** show, which makes ADC also a **** show, but I don't have the patience for it most games.

I figure Malphite could always press R, so I needed to help Tristana continue to murder Yasuo, but it didn't work out super well for us. I ganked him and hit him with E and Q and Ignite. Tristana walked up to auto him. Yasuo killed her and got a Triumph proc and survived.

The next time I came by and that mean ol Nocturne counterganked with ult and we didn't have enough juice to win the 2v2. Sad pony.

Maokai game one. Competent team. Anivia dumpster Vladimir mostly on her own. I saved Teemo's bacon a couple of times which meant tha that Tryndamere was mostly a non-factor. Bot lane also did well.

Maokai game two.

Not really sure what I should have done differently on this game. I helped Pantheon kill Kayle early. And I came back and ganked her again for another kill. Pantheon for some reason decided to build Black Cleaver first rather Youmuu's Ghostblade. So oddly he started actually losing fights to the Kayle, who had no armor. Third time I came to try to help him out she was too much for us to handle between the two of us.

We went down all three inhibitors but were defending well, but Vladimir decided we had to go and try to contest Baron despite having to deal with super minions in and least a couple of lanes. I feel like the real killer would have been letting them get a 2nd Elder Drake, but whatever. We couldn't actually get our DPS to join us since they were clearing supers so they were able to make the final push with our team split.

And holy **** our Lux was bad.

Had to take a break from jungle. I've been playing a lot of Kayle is soloqueue.

There are about three typical match-ups that suck.

Tryndamere, Camille, and Irelia. Of the three I find Tryndamere the hardest to deal with. Need to see if I can find some videos on how to play these match-ups.

I don't like buying Hextech Revolver first, unless I just have to do it to survive.

Recurve Bow gives you the attack speed you need to do something with your level 6 power spike.

An ideal back would probably be Recurve Bow + Hextech Revolver or Boots if you really need the movement speed.

If you happen to need extra armor you can build Iceborn Gauntlet. The slow procs on your E. I had one for a while in this game, but Ekko was doing so much damage I ended up sellling it for an Abyssal Mask.

The Kled match-up isn't awful. You just need to avoid getting all ined by him until you have enough items to quickly dismount him without getting blown up yourself. He can still be annoying when you knock him off Skaarl as your range isn't that high so he can still hit you with Q which knocks him away from you making him harder than you would think to chase down.

He should build Tiamat vs you and roam so you need to let your laners know when he is MIA and work to shove out and take plates if he does chose to roam.

I expect this match-up could be hard if you are being camped by certain junglers since Kled has decent catch potential and a lot of damage.

I felt like they had the better team comp, but we managed to play out laning phase a little bit better and coordinate fights just a little bit better. Brand and Heimerdinger damage was nutty.

I had a couple of run it down type blunders in this game, but we were generally able to get other things on the map while we were getting mauled.

Caitlyn ended up taking their Nexus turrets before Miss Fortune got her. A case could be made that we might have won the fight that we lost had Cait been there, but it certaintly ended up putting a lot of pressure on their team.

Giving jungle a break and chilling in Top lane.

Maokai game. Vs Teemo it isn't a lot more agency then vs Kayle, but it means free ganks for my jungler. Plus Teemo can't really ever kill me and he has a hard time pushing me out of lane. Our Cassiopeia was beast mode. We ended up playing around her.

Kayle game 4. no team synergy at all. Rakan seemed tilted AF, which was a major part of the synergy problem. Have to be careful around Renekton and hope to RNGesus that he can't setup a freeze before level 6.

Kayle game 3. Vladimir was a fairly neutral lane. He could poke me and I could poke him, though he doesn't have to worry about mana, so maybe not worth trading early. IIRC Morgana or Rengar eventually came up and helped me kill him.

Kayle game 2. Holy **** Illaoi is annoying to lane against. I think early Ninja Tabi, a Seeker's Armguard and possibly a Stopwatch for this matchup. The boots are to dodge her Tentacle Smash and Test of Spirit, the later of which it appears that damaging Illaoi no longer decreases its duration. That feels bad, because I could wail on her while she was focusing it. Talon was beast mode this game, so I got to do my thing once Illaoi got pulled away from lane.

Kayle game 1. Supposedly Vayne loses this matchup more often than not. But I'm not sure how. This one wasn't that terrifying to lane against but I could never trade more than even with her running Press the Attack, so I might have been better off with Kleptomancy. I'll have to see if I can find a game review on how to play this mathcup.

Update: Did watch a replay of this matchup and the Kayle went Klepto and picked up two early Long Swords which gave her a bit of burst vs the Vayne.

Their Vladimir got bonkers fed with some help from the Lee Sin and ganks on Bot lane to the point that I never got near coming online. Ghost + Flash turned out to be a good call for the Vayne in this lane. I believe it is so she can run someone down in lane if the get out of line early, but I never did that, but it did allow her to get out of both of Shaco's ganks.
