Well done on the guide! I don't play Fiora nor top lane often myself, but I have played both before and I was curious about when to go Manamune? I know you mention Tear of the Goddess as a cheater recall but I was wondering when you take Tear of the Goddess over Cull and in what situation you upgrade to Manamune in?
To answer, you should go Tear of the Goddess if you and your lane opponent have no-kill pressure against each other. That allows you to freely scale. Cull on the other hand is good for getting item spikes faster while having some combat stats to help in trades. Manamune should be upgraded third item or later, as if you do it before then you'll delay your omnivamp for too long, making it harder to split if you can't kill your opponent. Hope that answered your questions!
You made an application in the guide review thread, so here it is!
A note before I start: I do not play Fiora myself so my knowledge on builds/runes is limited.
This is a very good guide in terms of basics, aside from a few details it’s perfect. But beyond that, it kind of nibbles the surface of gameplay information. To elevate your guide from good to top-tier you could look to upgrade it with in-depth sections about stuff like warding (beyond laning phase), wave control, how to teamfight, target selection, how to properly utilize Teleport, walljumping, how to splitpush and whatnot. This can be a lot of work, so it is ultimately up to you to decide whether it is worth it or not! (I definitely think it is worth it :D)
This concludes the review. I hope you can do something with the feedback, feel free to reply if you have any questions/remarks.
Anyways, good luck with updating & upgrading your guide and have a nice day!
Thanks for the guide!!
Overall, despite some misgivings about Manamune, this guide feels well-made and the builds & matchups look well-researched. My main gripe is that while it covers all the core subjects that a guide must cover, you don't have much meat to the guide beyond the build. Adding more gameplay content to teach readers how to play Fiora beyond the basic mechanics and build knowledge will bring your guide the rest of the way to becoming a really in-depth resource. This guide has a lot of potential so I hope you continue working on it and trying to make it the best it can be! :)
I hope you find this review helpful in fixing up a few things and having some goals to work towards. Good luck with your guide!
Where you stand as of right now, you've got a solid guide. I'm going to let you digest my input, and maybe make some changes. If you want me to revisit your guide at some later point in time, then it'd be my pleasure. Just reply to this comment if you feel like it or you can decide to post a new review on My Review Service.
What makes Fiora better than other bruisers and skirmishers is her true damage passive and Riposte. After Conqueror got reworked into more ad and healing and no true damage, bruisers like Jax and Aatrox suffer against tanks because they have no true damage. Fiora on the other hand passive does true damage and therefore does better in fighting tanks. Riposte is one of the best outplaying abilities in the game that makes her 1v1 potential better than most bruisers. I would consider Fiora a hard champion to master as split-pushing effectivity and the use of Riposte in fights takes time to master. I think Fiora is very rewarding when played correctly because in every matchup there's always something to Riposte to be able to outplay. My opinion on Sanguine Blade is that it is worse than triforce because lethality is and was never good on Fiora and it has no cdr and Fiora utilizes cdr well.
I really like your guide here on Fiora it gives some new players the basics and fundamentals on how to play the champ and it's pretty concise as well which is good. I love your little banners although they could look even better, but as of right now they're really cute. I have a question though, Do you think there is a possibility of one more keystone being a thing on Fiora or is Conq / Grasp the only ones & if so, why not mention it & why would it be good?
Otherwise, like your guide. :)
To answer your question, conqueror and grasp are the keystones that I personally use, but kleptomancy is an option against tanks that you can't kill in the early game like Shen and Cho'Gath. I haven't tested it yet so I don't have any data on how good it is, but kleptomancy is good for getting your item spikes faster but doesn't provide any damage late game. I have a question for you. What could I do to improve the banners? This is my first time making a guide so I would appreciate any feedback to make my guide better.
