We've picked the Revival champions based on the number of updated guides they have. Zilean is also one of the champions with fewer updated guides, but we couldn't add him to the list as there are more champions that need guides more than Zilean does.

Is it too late to start updating my guide to enter the contest, or can I update it today and then keep it updated throughout these 8 weeks to be in the contest?

Hey @ Metallichydra,
You have until January 17, 2022 at 11:59pm PST to update your guide as that is when the guide contest closes and the judging period begins (judging period is 2 weeks).
You'll automatically be entered into the contest when you update your guide (clicking the publish button), so all you need to do is to update it and keep it updated.

Only the champions for the revival category are mandatory to enter the category, you will need e.g. a
Vel'Koz guide to be able to win revival.The others are for show and all champions are considered.
