It provides dragon control if your bottom lanemates aren't complete ****tards.
Again: Personal preference. I like wriggle's, I feel it's stronger than MBR rushing. Maybe you feel differently, that's cool. You'll play your way I'll play my way (switched from MBR rushing).

I don't think Searz understand just how amazing that free ward is, along with the life steal and easy farming procs.

I just sit on my Madred's, then finish Merc. Threads, and take Rec. Bow. I'll take Spirit Visage pre-MBR, mainly because it isn't that necessary early on. Or is that just me? :)
I don't feel that it's necessary early on because if you are going to MBR rush you're going to be doing more damage with a Wit's End anyways, people don't have too much HP for your MBR procs to own off of (early on).

I'm not arguing for or against this, I'll just state that it is a misconception that the amount of HP a target has actually matters. Regardless of health, 4% of max life with 5 procs on your ult is 20% (before MR). It will always be 20%.

Wit's End is also an awesome early item to have. Maybe it's worth taking over MBR, I gotta try it out some time.
The free ward would be the main reason to get Wriggles. I still think you're better off with other items though :/

The moment a religious person unknowingly calls his own ways stupid: "And lol. I highly doubt you have magic powers. If you proved it I would believe you, but since you 'refuse to', I choose not to."

Yes, but the question is: Which will do more damage, 42 magic damage or 4% of their max health in magic damage?
@Trojan The thresh-hold for that is the HP total of 1050. If a target has less than 1050 HP, then Wits End will deal more damage, however if the target has more than 1050 HP, then MBR will deal more damage.

Free ward, a lotlotlotlotlot stronger early game (you can hold a lane sooo much easier without blue buff). Better dragon control, stronger ganks (they can't kill you as easily as they would if you had madred's). Sure he doesn't need wriggle's but I feel like it's a lot better than rushing for the Madred's. I guess it's really personal preference and dependent on how much you've farmed.
It doesn't provide dragon control. The ONLY thing it really does is give you a free ward every 3min and a little bonus stats. Once you got MBR you'll be way stronger than you would have been with an early wriggles.
