well i cant wait to see when tf and panth get reworks, mostly on the ult, but other 'buffs' to make them more viable.
shens ult is just fine because of how limited it is compared to tf and panths.

Ha, silly Elementz tier list.
Their aren't nearly enough global-ultimate-packing champions for the metagame to be about global skills.
IMO, the metagame seems so be on the fence between split-pushing and tanky DPS. Vayne has hit Tanky DPS hard. And, the Tenacity item (mainly cloak and dagger) do count for something for something; turning their "good cc + tanky stats + sustained damage" into just "subpar cc + tanky stats and sustained damage."
Anyways, your team is either tough, durable, and good at controlling fights, or you're really good at pushing and ganking.
Global ultimates are just naturally good at fitting into split pushing. You can split-push, and when a team fight breaks out somewhere else, bam, you still contribute despite being far away.
If globals were truly the metagame, I'd be seeing a LOT more of Pantheon, underpowered or not.
EDIT:
Basically, it's like "Tanky DPS VS AoEs" again. Without as big a concern for nerfs.
It's "Tanky DPS VS Split-Pushing" now, and the different is both sides are far more balanced then the TankDPS vs AoE period. Tanky DPS is much weaker so it's not as influential and split-pushing is a tactic that can be countered if you know how to adapt well.
I feel if Riot buffs AD (as they've been mentioning), Support to solve the sustainability issues, and maybe throw a few bones to old champions who have become outdated (like Annie and Nasus), then the game will be looking pretty dam good.

The thing is, if AP TF is played right (which alot of people fail to do), it can be scary as hell.
A couple of times I see reginald picking up TF now, and he has great accuracy with wild cards...
Plus a spammable stun (if you can time it :p) is pure gold. (get it.stun = gold card....pure gold...)

Ya know I thought Riot said they were gonna try and make games shorter. How does any of this help make them shorter?
Edit: What would they do to buff TF anyways? Make all his abillties stack AD? (Which if I remember right Jun you said they were kinda promoting that with the recommended items) If they do that then it might shut up the AP/AD TF which is better debates.
Though anyone else feel like he is gonna have one of his skills reworked or something?

Check out my AP/AD TF Build
Either Pure AD, Attack Speed, or PURE AP TF can deal tons of damage in the current metagame. Ap is more like the only hero who has the ability to take 600 damage off of more than 1 champ every 3 secs

Edit: I believe that Elementz has even stated that the current meta (at least in high ELO) is globals.
