I've never quite understood the social implication that idealism of women is sexist and/or demeaning - these pictures are just an idealistic form of women.
Assuming the artist is a man, I'd say he probably doesn't know the exact contours to make a man's abs look oh-so-sexy, or has no intention of making the guys incredibly revealing because it's a personal taste. I'm sure a woman would have less trouble making rock-hard pecs and dynamite abs just right to appeal to women, whereas a straight guy would have more trouble.

You guys clearly don't know what Eastern Asia is like.
This kind of stuff is totally acceptable.
Especially in Japan.
Gender roles are very different, although rights and laws are mostly the same.
And it's accepted there.
People have a different way of life there, and they treat genders differently because to them, it is different.
You can't go arguing that women and men are the same. They're not.
They deserve the same rights so the outliers can do as they please, but the average man and women do different things when left to their own devices.
Sexuality in Eastern Asia is also a lot less restricted because over there, because the average person appears less perverted. People are more busy doing other things.
Like, if you ask a normal japanese high school student or college student whether they'd pick a weekend trip with their friends or their girlfriend, on average, more choose their friends
And this isn't like 60:40 difference in the votes. It's a land slide victory like 80:20 of 90:10
Over here, romantic partners are like "partners" they're always together.
In Japan, it's more like an arranged marriage, even if they chose on their own. Pairings will often only see each other for 3~5 hours a week.
Sexuality, it just doesn't concern them as much.

Why is it that every topic I've read today has devolved into some existential argument? Call it moe, call it kawaii, call it desu, call it sexy, call it stupid. Who cares?
