the artists for LoL have improved dramatically, it's nice to see them listening to the fans. still waiting on updates for the old champs though.

Artists naturally improve over time. It's got nothing to do with the community.
Read any comic, manga, or online cartoon.
If you order it chronologically (as reading should be) and go through it in one sitting, you'll easily see an improvement in the artwork. Although it's not so obvious if you read it over a long period.

We've been told that mathematicians have proven that a monkey with a typewriter will eventually produce the complete works of William Shakespeare if you give him enough time. We'd be willing to wager, however, that even this talented ape couldn't defeat our very own Kienan in a race to paint the artwork for Wukong, the Monkey King.
